《Begging for forgiveness》Chapter 5

Cameron's POV
I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant and just got off the phone to Keiran. He had purchased the twin donkey bugaboo pram for me and I was so grateful yet so annoyed at him for spending that money. He told me it was a gift to his nieces. He also brought me the car capsules that attach to the pram. I was a sobbing mess on the phone to him. He assured me that it was nothing.
We spoke for a while before he warned me that Keith had hired a private investigator to search for something. He wasn't sure what but that was the first time he had said anything to me about Keith. He had never once mentioned him before the entire time since I left the city and Keith. I thought nothing of it to be honest. He had moved on and I was to busy to dwell on what happened. I needed to focus on myself and the twins. Keith was in the past and once we reached the 1 year and 1 day mark we could be legally divorced.
I got off the phone to Keiran and finished up the order I was working on. By the time I was finished it was close to 7.30pm and I was beyond exhausted. I was still living with my parents and they had been the best of help to me. I didn't know how I was going to repay them at all.
We had decided the granny flat downstairs at my parents place, would be turned into my room and the nursery because it would be easier being downstairs with newborn babies by myself getting them to and from the car and it also had more room to fit everything in. I would still be upstairs with the babies when someone could help me up there and we would be having our meals upstairs but this way not everyone would have to be up during the night when the twins were up. Dad still had work and I didn't think it was fair for him to be disturbed all the time with me having to feed in the middle of the night.

We had painted the downstairs and set it up with a microwave, fridge, rocking chair, a queen bed for me, change table, two cots and two chest of draws. There was also room for a couch and TV which I had yet to order. My brother and dad had started to put everything together for me just incase. I had also been buying nappies and wipes with each grocery shop so I had a stash when the babies arrived.
I locked up my work space with Sage and then we both headed out, Sage lived near blueys beach and like most kids out here had her own car. I headed off home and dragged myself upstairs. I was going to eat dinner and then shower before falling into bed. When I got upstairs my parents were watching the news. "Cam, have you heard the news tonight?" Dad asked me. "Nope I'm exhausted, had a massive order to finish. I'm going to eat, shower then head to bed" I replied. Just then my brother came running up the back stairs to my parents house bursting into the room. "Cameron you need to see the news" he said before going onto my parents computer and getting onto whatever he wanted me to see.
I walked over and there on the screen was Keith. "Why do I need to see this?" I asked. "Just watch" Phil replied. "Keith is it true you found out that Sarah orchestrated the entire scandal causing you to seperate from your wife after you allegedly assaulted her?" Asked a reporter. "Sarah did in fact orchestrate the entire thing" he replied. "Keith is it true your wife is pregnant with your child and you have no idea where she is or how the baby is?" Another reported asked. "I am unsure if she is pregnant or not. She did inform me she was pregnant before we seperated but I am unsure how or if the pregnancy progressed" he stated.

"Keith our sources say she is in fact very much pregnant with your child however you have signed your rights away to any child she is to birth. What do you have to say about that? Also where is your wife now? Are you still in the process of getting a divorce?" A report asked. "We are not getting divorced. I love my wife very much. This has all been a misunderstanding that's all" he replied.
I slammed the computer shut. "A misunderstanding? Ha. He has got to be kidding. The divorce will be going ahead. I can't deal with this now I'm going to shower and go to bed" I say before heading up to the bathroom. I'm no longer hungry.
I take my time in the shower. My back is killing me and the water seems to be helping. I sing to
my babies while showering which makes them settle down and stop moving so much. They are always so active and it can be painful, there isn't much more room in there so I often get a kick in the ribs which hurts.
Twin 2 is also laying on my spine which can be painful. Tonight I know I'll be using the wheat bag to place on my lower back. I usually reheat the bag during the night on one of my many toilet trips. Twins on your bladder isn't the most fun especially when it wakes you at least three times a night. Once out of the shower I head to my room grabbing my wheat pack and heading to the kitchen to warm it up. I hear my phone ringing in my room but I couldn't be bothered going to answer it. I say goodnight to my family again who are deep in conversation before heading up to bed.
I check my phone and see it's Keiran who called me but I'm way to exhausted to have a conversation with him now. I get into bed cuddling my body mate pillow and tuck my wheat pack into the back of my pants so it's is resting on my lower back before trying to get some much needed sleep. I have tomorrow off so I don't need to set and alarm. I plan on sleeping most of tomorrow because carrying two babies is exhausting as hell. I soon doze off and I welcome the sleep.

Connections to another world opened up. Humans with powers made of the wildest imaginations, stepped out of them, calling themselves cultivators. Naturally, earth’s population went into an uproar. One piece of information created an especially great stir. The cultivators were there to pick disciples. Millions rushed to them, and Blair wanted to be one of them. There was just one problem. His lord father was strictly against interaction with those magical beings. He always dreaded a foreign power gaining influence in his court. Well, the old man never changes, and now it was the same as ever. His sister wasn´t even allowed to study abroad. However, all his senses told Blair that the future lay in the cultivator's hands. His plan was to gain knowledge, power, and maybe influence. Then he would return. One night he simply vanished in the darkness, away from his father’s claws. Will he succeed? That is hard to tell. The immortal world is an unforgiving place, even worse than earth. It’s just that Blair doesn’t know that yet. Can he survive there, and gain a footing in the new era of qi and godly hermits? Only time will tell, and Blair has to fight for every minute. Authors note: Give the story a try. It’s my personal blend of qi, cultivation, and struggles of morality and power. If I can deliver on all that is another question, but I will give it my best. As a further note, I am not using any of the usual strict realms and extreme power differences. It’s more about gathering and refining qi. Whoever uses his chances, sneak attacks, intuitions, and skills in a better way wins. However, having more or better qi will help, but I am not at a point where I have written a lot of that, so I might promise too much. Thanks for reading so far and checking my synopsis out, now you might give the story a try. Have fun. The picture is from JCK5D (Pixabay)

Updates Sunday - Tuesday - Thursday![successful participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Rating: This should align pretty closely with your typical MCU movie, so PG-13 for scenes of fantasy violence. There'll be gore and some swearing but not much beyond that. If that changes, I'll warn you. MC: Shaya is analytical, but begins the story emotional and impulsive. She leans towards rationality and uses this to control her demonic impulses to the best of her abilities. She begins the story as a somewhat capable protagonist, but grows in power steadily through hard work and diligence. Fights: ...I like fight scenes. They’re going to be detailed, but I won’t drown you in description of individual hand movements or footwork. I like fights that can be solved like puzzles by the audience, where creative thinking wins the day using tools you know the protagonist has at their disposal.

Twoen
The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper

[OLD] The Magus of Imminent Oblivion
AN: This is a pretty shitty novel, in case you haven't already guessed that by the rating. Check out the newer version that I'm writing, since it has more content written and higher quality (I hope). He was a nameless child born at the end of a great war. He gave himself a name, then worked his way to prosperity. He had a job, a wife, a daughter, and his future looked bright. But, then, things changed. His wife and daughter were dead, and a hundred bodies laid strewn across the floor. He couldn't continue to live; he pierced his body with his own sword. Awakening in a new world, his new body burned with an old fury. Where magic was common and power was cheap, he vowed to never let anything get the better of him.
