(Riley's PoV)
The clicking of a lock woke me up from my slumber.
The door opened with a slow creak.
"Well well well, you must be my new slave."
I turned around to face who I assumed to be Xavier.
He had dark hair and chocolate brown eyes.
He wore a black button on shirt and a pair of jeans.
I was sure that with these looks girls would be falling all over him.
"As you may know I'm Xavier."
"Yes I do" I said not looking at him.
"There are going to be some ground rules" Xavier said looking bored.
"You are going to call me master at all times and you will do as I say. If you cross any lines or disrespect me, you will be punished."
"And I do not go easy on punishments.
Understood? 'slave' " he spat at me
And in that moment I realised that this will be a lot worse than I anticipated.
" oh and always look at me while I speak with you"
I slowly looked up. My gaze met his demanding one.
"Yes master, I understand"
" hmm, good girl. You will not be allowed to go out of this room until and unless I'm with. And you can kiss your freedom goodbye."
Something snapped in me as he said that. Who was he to take my freedom away?
" why do you vampires think that you can do anything to us? Everything was fine before you beasts took over."
I suddenly realised what I had just said.
"What did you just say" he said, anger evident in his voice.
I felt a sudden jolt and in the next second I was up in the air. Dangling from nothing.

I saw that Xavier had his hand up towards me and his expression was that of concentration.
Pain suddenly took over my senses.
It was unbearable. I heard loud screams coming from the distance, soon realising they were mine.
" sorry" I said weakly
"It won't happen again" I tried pleading with him.
"Master please"
I fell to the ground, shivering. And the pain was gone just like that.
I sat there and cried, unable to get up.
"I had warned you" he said with a hint of something in his voice
Was it regret? No it couldn't be.
Why would the merciless prince regret hurting me? Just a worthless slave.
"You can go take a shower. I'll tell Lisa to get some fresh clothes for you. Then we can go have dinner with the rest of the family."
I simply nodded standing up and headed for the bathroom.
After this long day I was thankful for the warm water brushing my back.
I cried in the shower, for the second time that day.
And I recalled my family after what felt like years.
It was so long time ago and I missed them very much.
