We head back to the great hall, avoiding wreckage and attempting small talk. We arrive at the large oak doors and Ron pushes them open. To my surprise everyone is still here chattering.

McGonagall approaches us. "I'm glad to see your still here. Everyone else is sleeping here tonight and you three are all going to London tomorrow. Could you three stay as well? There's room in the Gryffindor common room still." "Sure." I say clearly surprising Ron and Hermione. They expect me to want to leave as soon as possible, and of course I do want to, but another part of me, maybe a stronger part still calls this place home.
