Finally, they arrived at Maui after such an eventful trip at Kalaoa. 2 weeks in Maui, Yoongi thought that he must make the best out of this trip to strengthen his relationship with Jungkook.

The first week during the trip was a lot of fun. The couple went to try a lot water sports, beach activities and they both attended a lot of functions held by the hotel they were staying at.

It was truly an amazing experience for both of them. They also met a lot of other couples there, alpha-omega, beta-beta, alpha-beta, etc. You name it all. It was an eye-opening experience for the young couple to see how other couples interact with each other.

They met a lot of amazing and interesting people and one that really got engraved in Jungkook's mind was this alpha-omega couple.

They had been together for almost a decade but they were not married nor was the omega marked. In their society, it was weird for an alpha not to claim their mate but after hearing that specific alpha's explanation, Jungkook got to understand much more about himself and about omegas in general.

The couple didn't obliged to what society wanted them to do, they feels as they did not need to "prove" to other people that they are in love or a couple. Marking an omega definitely is a very intimate thing but at the same time, things won't necessarily go as planned.

This made Jungkook rethink his whole plan of marking Yoongi because it indeed made Jungkook very stress. He wanted to make the whole experience as amazing and memorable for Yoongi so his mate could enjoy it. He had heard how marking can go terribly wrong for some couples.

Jungkook definitely didn't want to lose the trust he finally built up with Yoongi. He thought that maybe instead of stressing out about marking or claiming Yoongi, he should enjoy this trip to the max and strengthen their relationship more.

He wanted to let Yoongi know that he is his mate, not some alpha that only wants him to claim him. He did not want Yoongi to think of their relationship like that, so he wants to take everything slow and as natural as possible.

Their trip was almost over and although everything was perfect to them, Yoongi had some troubles.

He had been receiving weird calls all throughout their trip and he had consistently blocked the numbers but new numbers kept on calling him.

He did not tell Jungkook about it because he did not want to worry Jungkook about it. Somewhere in Yoongi's mind, he still had the mindset of 'he did not need an alpha to protect or worry about him' but what he did not rationalise was that Jungkook is his mate.

It was the last day of their trip in Maui and they were packing up everything to go home. Yoongi was excited to finally go home and meet his friends and family. He still had all those weird calls but his ego was too big to admit he had a problem going on.

Jungkook did notice how Yoongi constantly avoided his phone and not picking up calls but he did not want to push Yoongi to answer him.

This is because once during the trip, Jungkook kept on asking Yoongi if something was wrong and Yoongi spat back at him saying he did not need Jungkook to worry so much as he himself is a grown adult.

Yoongi did apologise for his hurtful words towards Jungkook and Jungkook forgave him but Jungkook felt as he needed to give Yoongi personal space.

"I'M HOME!" Yoongi yelled as he slammed the door of his home open. Jungkook drove him back after safely landing in South Korea.

He immediately felt someone grab his face and twisted his head to the side. He slapped the person without knowing who and yelled "WTF".

It was his brother, Yongho. "What the hell was that for?!"

Yongho pointed at Jungkook all of a sudden. Jungkook just widen his eyes.

"You're lucky you didn't touch my brother, or even marked him, or else you will not be alive." Yongho was dead serious with what he said.

Yoonkook couple just laughed awkwardly because even though Jungkook did not mark Yoongi, that did not mean they had not been having fun alone, in the bedroom.

After all the commotion calmed down and settling Yoongi's stuff in his room, he greeted his parents and contacted his friends to tell them he landed safely. Jungkook went home and both of them rested, trying to deal with jetlag.

But Jungkook felt uneasy and something felt weird in him but he could not point a finger on it. He just shrugged it off and went to sleep. Not knowing what was up for the next week.
