I didn't even take the time to ask . I was too afraid to hear it .. Meghan..this was all my fault..
"DAD!!! WHAT'S GOING ON!?" I screamed with tears in my eyes as I burst into the house .
"She's not talking anymore! I heard the mirror shatter! Someone get this door down!" My mom started shouting commands and everyone followed orders . "Hershel get the bed ready! Beth help get everything he needs! Rick , Daryl get ready to carry her into the room! Carl Leave!"
"I'm not leaving . No way ." I said stubbornly .
"I said leave ." She said .
"Carl listen to your mother ." Dad said .
"Mom I'm not leaving and that's that! Now break down that door and get her out of there before she dies! Hurry up don't worry about me! I'm alive! It's her you should be worrying about!" I said angrily .
The men broke down the door . What I saw made me scream in terror . I slumped to the ground in years and I couldn't stand . I was on my hands and knees .
"This is all my fault... I did this . I did this! I DID THIS! THIS IS ALL MY FAULT! I HURT HER!" I couldn't wrap my mind around it .
"HERSHELLLL!!!!!" My mom screamed .
It was Meghan...pale and cold...in a puddle of blood . Her eyes had red rims around them..she'd been crying..in her hand was a shard of glass .
They carried her into the room and lied her on the bed . I couldn't take it anymore , this wasn't real..it couldn't be... I got off the floor and ran toward her . I had to wake her up . To grab her hand . To make her laugh the way I used to..
"Carl!!! Grab him!!!" Hershel said suddenly .

I hadn't realised it but I really was trying to wake her up . Clutching her hand and sobbing . I wouldn't let go . Even with them trying to drag me away I still had her hand in mine .
"Carl! Listen to me! He's trying to save her , you gotta let go son.. I know it's hard.." My dad said pulling me away .
"Just give her back to me..." I replied weakly .
"It's okay son...it's all gonna be okay.." He said as I rested my head on his chest .
"Dad...I messed up bad this time.." I mumbled into his shoulder as I hugged him tight . I guess I fell asleep because that's the last thing I remember..
"How is she ?" I asked too nervous to go in and look .
"Hershel said she'll be okay , it was just a close call that's all . She lost a lot of blood and should be on bed rest for the next few days ." Lori replied .
Just then I heard it . An ear splitting shriek . I pushed past everyone and ran in to see what was happening . Meghan was squeezing the blankets . Her eyes closed tightly .
"Doc what's goin on!?!" I hollered angrily .
"Nightmares .. She's fine ." He replied .
"Meghan , listen to me girl it's okay . You're gonna be okay . Don't worry your pretty little head bout nothin" I tried to calm her .
"I gotta talk to Dale ." She said urgently .
"What's wrong ?" Dale said as we all left .
"You were right.. All along.. I saw it.." She said to me on a panicked tone .
"Right about what sweetheart ?" I asked her gently and calmly .
"Shane...he killed Otis... I saw it.."

Genitals will be mentioned sometimes, but never described in detail. Nude bodies will be described in passing, without too many specific details.
