I wiped the tears from her face .
"C'mon kid , don't cry . Cryin ain't gonna help nobody . It's only gonna make Rick and Carl worry more than they already do ." I said quietly .
"Hey! Don't you think I have a right here! I've lost the ones I care about! My mom! My dad! Amy! All of them! And you have the nerve to tell me not to cry!!??" She used the same fire in her that I use in myself .
"Kid look at yourself! You can't go cryin over things we can't help! Now I say you use the Dixon fire and put your head up! Keep your chin up and show them fuckers you are one strong little ass kicker! Do you understand me!?" I gave it right back to her .
"Yes dad..I..I mean Daryl.." She said still unsure but with a bit of confidence .
