However, the branches of fate are fickle things, a single encounter could change the course of history. Or perhaps that is simply the will of fate, and nothing has changed at all, who could know? He is a genuinely nice person trying to make the best of his situation. If you want a main character that revels in killing people, this is not the book for you.
