Lana felt a chill in the air.

Her brows raised, as she turned around finding a frightening form. The creature was huge, with claws, fangs and the prettiest face she'd ever seen.

He was enveloped in darkness, it almost reminded her of a cloak.

"It has been a while since I've seen you Lana." His voice rumbled, accented.

She should be scared. But instead her lips stretched into a grin.

"You're as beautiful as ever," he continued, stalking toward her.

She stood still, as he came closer. Fear. Where was her fear? She should be afraid, terrified.

"You know me. Your body knows me. Your soul. Even if your mind cannot access the memory of me." He answered her, cupping her face.

She closed her eyes leaning into his touch, her body heating up at his mere pretense. He smirked chuckling. "Hm...you must've missed me."

Lana shuddered pressing herself closer to this stranger. She looked to at him, weakening under his gentle smile. Meir watched her shake, taking great pleasure knowing she had no fear of him.

She was shaking for another reason. She was shaking with desire. Lana's breath hitched at his soft touch.

"W-who are you?" She quivered.

Meir wrapped his hand around her waist, raising her up to meet his eyes. Lana shivered.

"What are you?"

Meir wondered how to answer that.

"Kiss me, Lana." He said instead. She reached out, hesitantly reaching for his face before pausing.

"Is this a dream?"

He pressed her hand against his face. "Does it feel like it?"

She shook her head. "I don't know you though. You're...this isn't normal."

"Kiss me, Lana. My Lana. Kiss me. Touch me." He begged.

Her hands ran along his torso. She froze as he let out a small moan.

"I missed you Lana. How I have missed you."

Lana kissed his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his neck. He curled his hand around the back of her neck, pressing her closer.

"I'll never let you go again. I should've never let you go."

His lips crashed against hers desperately. She melted into him, unable to hold herself together.

Meir shifted awkwardly in his place, a cup in his hand.

"So...you're a god who...I freed and you brought back my dead child? And then, in order to save the world...you locked yourself away again and wiped my memory?" She summarized carefully.

"I'm not a god. I'm...God. But yes. Yes everything is correct."

She blinked, pursing her lips. "There's a place that can help you. You know I think you're a fine young man—"

He sighed. "I understand that this is all startling, Lana, but you know how I hate to be denied."

He leaned back in the chair, raising the cup to his mouth.

"So why are you back?"

He looked up. "One, missed you. And two, it seems our daughter is missing me. And she has a...misunderstanding of what I am."

Daughter? Lana frowned. They had a child?

"What...do you mean?"

Meir took a long sip before setting down his cup. "She seems to think I'm a reaper. So she's been killing people to see if I show up."

"I have a daughter...and she's a murderer?"

Meir shrugged. "Not usually. She's a good kid. Eats her souls, and her vegetables—"

This is too much. I stand. "I'm sorry but I—I can't. I don't know what this is but I don't wanna find out."

Meir stood, an eerie smile taking over his face. "I see. I'll go get our daughter on my own. Unfortunately, Lana, I will come back for you."

His large form moved toward the door, darkness swirling around him.

"I will have my ending if I have to drain this world to do it. Therefore, keep your eyes open. And remember...never have your back turned."

She shivered as he disappeared.
