《Senior Year》A Trip Down Memory Lane
Advertisement
It's crunch time again. Add that on top of musical rehearsals. Also, tech week is coming up soon. Wow, the last tech week of your high school theatre career!
On Friday, the senior class are going to get their graduation attire and have the annual Senior Walk. That's when the senior class walks through their elementary schools in their graduation attire. It's gonna feel so nice to walk through your elementary school as your senior self in your graduation cap and gown.
As a way to calm down from the stress, you and Emily have been searching your childhood TV shows on YouTube and watching them. It did feel a little weird watching little kid stuff again, but you both didn't care. One morning, you and Emily found some of the older episodes of Spongebob. Like Help Wanted, Pizza Delivery, Employee of the Month, The Paper, Arrgh!,
and Hooky.
You both watched small videos of each episode. It brought back so many memories. The bell rang and it was time to go the gym to get dressed in your graduation attire. Once everyone was dressed, you all piled onto the buses and went to the elementary schools. You and Emily sat down next to each other. You pulled out your phone and took a selfie. Then, you both watched more Spongebob videos that made you both feel the nostalgia.
You took a Snapchat of everyone on the bus. Then, you took a selfie of yourself and sent it to the cast. You explained what you were doing and they responded. Some of the cast didn't respond, because they're probably busy. Here's what some of them said:
Dylan: Have fun. I'm making so much progress with recovering. So, I should be good to go before the Death Cure.
Thomas: Wow. My beautiful girl is all dressed up for her graduation. I can't wait to see the real thing.

Ki Hong: Our Kelsey/my tiger is growing up so fast.
Dexter: Wouldn't be long now before that big day.
Will: We're all rooting for you, girl.
Rosa: You went from a lost girl in the Scorch to a high school graduate.
Kaya: Have fun going down memory lane.
Wes: I can't believe my little Kelsey will be graduating soon. We all love you and have fun.
~~~~~~~~~~
The bus came to a stop. You and Emily looked out the window to see your elementary school again. It's been so long.
"Long time, no see." Emily said to you.
You smiled in response. Everyone stepped off the buses and stood in front of the school. The teachers put everyone in a line, then walked through the front doors. This was the building that started your academic journey all those years ago.
While walking down the long hallways, you and Emily could remember everything. Every little detail was still in its place. Unfortunately, you guys couldn't go off on your own. You really wanted to see your old teachers or specific parts of the school. There were some elementary schoolers walking through the hallways as the class walked by. They just stared because you guys were "the big kids."
Once you guys finished walking through the school, you all went out to the playground. Everyone ran outside like you were elementary schoolers again.
Remember how excited you were for recess? Yeah, that feeling came back.
You and Emily headed to the swings, which was your favorite part of the playground. It felt good to be back.
After that nostalgic adventure, you guys had to go back to high school.
The WereLionesses Mate
She was running out of breath, but that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting away from him and proving him wrong. Branches scraped her face and her arms, her body burning hot; but cold from her sweat as the wind blew over her skin. Her pants soaked from running through the streams, her shirt ripped to shreds around her stomach from very low hanging branches. Her hair, a tumbling fiery mess of tangles, and waves slipping through the ponytail she had quickly fastened trying to tame her wild hair. Running and crawling on the ground through the forest floor, trying to get back to the camp grounds so Whhooossshhhh! All of a sudden a giant gust of wind flew past her nearly lifting her off the ground and throwing her into a tree. Where in the world did that wind come from? She thought, but she kept running like it had never happened. She jumped over a fallen log, ignoring the fact that she almost fell in the process. She zoomed past all the trees and sprinted over the roots coming out of the ground. She rounded another tree coming to a sudden halt at seeing him standing there with a drink in his hand laughing and joking. She stood there wondering how in the world he could have beaten her here; He looked at her then, He looked, well, handsome, his faced was clean shaven and his button up shirt was all unbuttoned minus the three at the bottom. She could still visibly see his bronze chest and the top of his ripped-hard abs. He walked over to her and smiled, showing all of his teeth, the smile reaching his eyes. His eyes were dark and stormy, their color was usually a nice honey brown but now his eyes looked mid-night black. They looked like they could kill a man at eighty paces, but could sweep a woman off her feet at the same time.
STAY DOWN |2020|
A/N: I was like 19 when I wrote this book. It's not my best work. 😭 Genesis Carter and Jeremiah "East" Wright thought that they had life all figured out until they met each other. Their romance was slow but sure, bringing a world of chaos along with it. Will they defy the odds and hold each other down? Or will unfortunate circumstances break them apart?
