It's now the last week of March. It's also Friday, which means that you got out for spring break today. Remember the concert tickets that Dylan gave you for Christmas? The concert is tonight. What a way to start break!

One problem: Dylan was planning on going with you, but he can't now because of his accident. He texted you yesterday, saying that Dexter will go in his place. He just finished the performances for his musical, Witness Uganda. Dexter texted you in the morning, saying that he was at the airport and he'll be there soon. You could hardly wait!

You're in English class. The only thing you guys did was write an essay. You finished early and did any homework that you had. When you were done, you watched some Maze Runner interviews on YouTube. Two text messages came through. One was from Dexter and one was from Thomas. You read them both.

D: I'm here. I'm staying at a hotel across from the airport. Hopefully you know where that is. I can't wait for tonight 😁

T: Hi, love. I just landed in Santa Fe. It's hot, feels like I'm back in the Scorch. Have fun at the concert with Dexter. Tell me all about it. I love you ❤️

You smiled at their messages and responded. You went back to watching YouTube videos until you got a text that said that you're almost out of data. You exited out of YouTube and listened to music for the rest of class. The minutes were getting slower and slower.

'Come on 1:45pm. Hurry up!' you thought.

After what seemed like forever, the bell finally rang and you ran out of class. You went to your car and drove home. You took a shower and ate a small snack. Your parents came home from work, then you left to pick up Dexter.

You were getting excited every passing minute. You parked in the hotel parking lot and saw Dexter waiting by the door. You got out and ran to him. A smile came on his face and his arms were open. You both engulfed yourselves in a bear hug.

"Hey Dex." you said.

"Hey girl. How's my Kelsey doing? Ready for a night of fun and music?" he asked.

He got in your car and you drove to the Italian restaurant that you ate at on Labor Day weekend. You insisted on paying for the food, but Dexter beat you to it.

After driving for about an hour, you guys finally arrived at the performance arena. You guys went inside and found seats in the back row. It's best to be in the distance, so that you can see everything. You and Dexter put videos on his Instagram story.

There was still about twenty minutes before the show started, so you two went to get some merchandise. Once again, Dexter paid. You got a T-shirt with the band's logo and an autographed postered. Dexter got a sweatshirt and a few stickers. Right as you guys got back, it started.

The concert was AWESOME!!! They played all of your favorite songs. At the end, Dexter gave you two lanyards that said 'VIP' on them. Only people with those lanyards get to meet the band. After meeting them and taking pictures, you both left.

What an awesome way to start a spring break. How can it get any better?
