《Senior Year》Time Skip!

The next couple of months went by like in the blink of an eye. Classes have been fine and easy. Rehearsals for the musical were winding down. Everyone is called to every single rehearsal to clean up anything. Luckily, you didn't get in any kind of trouble with your theatre arts teacher. The performance dates are at the end of April, so there's a month left to go.
You're still keeping in touch with the cast. Dexter has been texting you nonstop about how his musical is going. Kaya and Ki Hong told everyone about how the pregnancies are going. It won't be long now.
Thomas told you that he'll be coming to America for when Godless starts. The site is in New Mexico again, but it's in Santa Fe. Either way, he'll be back in the Scorch. Ki Hong said that he's been doing an internship with Wes for the past few months because he also wants to be a director, as well being an actor. Will just finished with his Detroit movie and has been involved with some charities in the England. Kaya finished the Pirates of the Caribbean movie and is now focused on her pregnancy. The others haven't texted, they must be busy.

You were at your desk, typing an essay for a college application. You were also listening to music. The music suddenly stopped and your ringtone went off. You looked at your screen to see that Dexter was calling you. You stopped typing and answered the call.
"Hey Dex. What's up?" you asked.
"Hey girl." he said.
For some reason, it didn't sound like the energetic Dexter that you have come to love.
"Is something wrong? You don't sound like yourself." you said.
"Actually there is. Dylan is in the hospital." Dexter finally said.

Your heart sank and you were speechless. Tears developed in your eyes.
"Wh-what? What happened?" you cried.
"I just saw it on the news. He was walking down the street when a car came out of nowhere and hit him. He's okay. He just has some minor injuries, but some can cause some serious damage in the future." Dexter explained.
You and him had a small conversation about it.
"I'll keep you updated. Good luck on your musical. We'll be rooting for you." Dexter said.
"Thank you. Good luck on your musical. I miss you all so much. Well, I gotta finish an essay. If you get in contact with Dylan, tell him I said hi and that I hope he feels better." you said.
"I will do that for you. Bye." he said.
You managed to finish the essay, but you couldn't stop thinking about Dylan. Then, the cast members started to text in the group message about the accident. Wes said that if Dylan can't recover in time for the filming of the Death Cure, he'll have to postpone to a later time.
After that long conversation, you texted Kendra and Gwen to tell them the news. They sounded very upset through text message because it's tough to wrap your head around something like this. All that they can do is pray.
Later that night, Dylan was trying to FaceTime you. You accepted it and he came on your screen. He told you the whole story from the beginning. You told him about school and the musical. He assured you that he's going to be okay.
~~~~~~~~~~
Ever since Dexter told you about Dylan's accident, you've been praying and pushing forward. He's so brave and strong, just like his character, Thomas.
Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.
