《Senior Year》A Bonus Christmas Present

Christmas was awesome and a little crazy. You got everything that you asked for and loved all of the surprises. The rest of your family came over to your house for dinner, presents, and played Christmas themed Minute-to-Win-it games. Your family was divided into three teams of five. You guys played ten games and your team won.

After everyone left, you went to your room. You changed into pajamas and put Thomas's CD in your DVD player to play the music. Your favorite songs on the CD were Thomas singing your favorite song and his original song. You were at your desk, coloring in Jacob's Christmas advanced coloring book with the new markers. You were also using the glitter pen pack that your cousins gave you. It felt very relaxing after a long day.

After coloring half of the picture, you decided to call it a night. You got settled in your bed and checked any notifications your phone. Thomas had texted you a picture of his family standing in the snow. They were all wearing trench coats and had luggage with them. Some snowflakes were in the way.

He said: "Going over to my aunt and uncle's place. I'm hoping that we come back in one piece. Things can get really crazy over there during this time of year. I love you and I hope you had a great Christmas 🥰🎄🎅🏼"

You smiled at the nice picture and his message. You texted him back, even though it was late. Then, you went to bed.

Thomas's POV

Things can't get any better. My parents and Ava gave me one final Christmas gift of the night.

It was an envelope. I opened it and pulled out four tickets. They were plane tickets from London to y/state/n.

I gasped in astonishment. I'm going to see my girlfriend during the Christmas season after all. I jumped for joy like an excited, little kid. I hugged my family and said thank you over and over.

We packed up and headed to the airport. We took a family picture of us outside in the snow. I was about to send it to y/n, but Ava stopped me.

"Mum! Thomas is going to send that picture to y/n." she tattled.

"I'm not going to tell her that we're coming to see her. I'm sending it to her, but saying something else to throw her off the scent." I explained.

They thought that it was a clever idea, then I sent it to her. Y/n didn't respond back to me. Oh well, she must be busy with her family's Christmas stuff.

It's going to be a long trip, but it'll be worth it to see the joy on y/n's face when we surprise her.

Y/n's POV

The last few days have been kind of boring and the same. Sleeping in, watching TV, coloring in your advanced coloring book, listening to Thomas's CD, and wearing his sweatshirt over your lounging clothes.

Wow! In only a few hours, it'll be the new year. You were helping your parents get ready for the New Year's Eve party, when the doorbell rang.

"I got it." you said.

"Thanks." your mom said from the kitchen.

You opened the front door to see Thomas and his family on the porch!
