It seems like that everything is moving at a snail's pace. The last few days are supposed to be easy, but that's wrong when you're in high school. The first half of the year is coming to an end. Only six more months until graduation and it won't be long until the filming of the Death Cure.

You were walking to your Teacher Prep class. No one else was in there because the chairs were still on the desks. You decided to do your teacher a favor and started to take down all the chairs. Just when you put down the last chair, you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket.

You sat down at your desk and pulled out your phone. There were two texts from Kaya and Thomas. They both got casted in the projects that they auditioned for. Thomas got the role of Whitey Winn in the Netflix show, 'Godless.' Kaya got the role of Carina Smyth in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie. You were so proud of them.

You received another text. It was the callback list for High School Musical 2. Your heart was pounding. You tapped on the link to open the list. You took a deep breath as the list was loading.

Your eyes widened because you're actually on the callback list!

Out of all your four years being in your school's theatre arts program, you have NEVER been called back for anything. Something else on the list made your eyes widened even more. You're called back to do a scene with Alex and sing 'Gotta Go My Own Way' with him.

'Does this mean anything? Why has he been coming into my life? Well, he did comforted me after our theatre arts teacher cut me, but that was different.' Many thoughts clouded your mind.

You were knocked of your thoughts by the announcements coming on and your teacher coming into the classroom.

In your Teacher Prep class, you guys had a Christmas breakfast and watched A Charlie Brown Christmas. In Chemistry, you had a test. It didn't take you that long, so you had the rest of class to do whatever you wanted. You texted the cast and your family about getting called back for the musical. When you got to English class, you guys had another Christmas party and watched a movie.

You went to the library and hung out there until the school day ended. You looked over the song lyrics again and softly sang. You gotta make this callback count. Soon enough, 3:30pm came. You left the library and walked down the hallway get to the chorus room. There were quite a few kids standing outside of the room.

You pulled out your headphones and listened to 'Gotta Go My Own Way.' After listening to the song one time, Alex came up to you. You and him had a small conversation, then the stage manager called everyone into the chorus room.

Three other pairs of kids were called back before you and Alex. Your theatre arts teacher explained the scene to you both. It's after Gabriella tells Sharpay off about her selfish ways. Then, it goes into the song. You really felt like Gabriella and Alex looked like he felt like Troy.

It's now Friday and Christmas break starts in a few hours. You got an email while in Algebra II class. It's the link to the cast list. You tapped on it and scrolled down the list to see that you got casted as Kelsi. This is your second role by that character name.
