《Senior Year》Santa Came Early

Just as you predicted, it's crunch time. More tests or quizzes have been scheduled some time before the Friday you get out for Christmas break. Luckily, the tests are scattered around, so it's not like you have a test or two every day.

Dexter has kept you updated about his musical. He's been telling you about the new things that he's learned from his cast members and being in a theatre environment. Being a thespian, you gave him some of your advice and the warmup games that you have done in past shows. You also told him about the encouragement sticky notes that the cast does at your school. Everyone writes an uplifting message on a sticky note to someone in the cast and they have someone else deliver the note.

Other than school work, you have also worked on getting your Christmas presents ready for your friends, teachers, and the cast. You have already bought everything and you had to wait on some presents to come in the mail. All that's left is for the cast to text everyone their addresses, so that they can mail their presents to them.

You've noticed that a lot of packages have been delivered to your house. You check the shipping addresses and see that it's from one of the cast members.

Thomas texted you one day, saying that if you get a big package from the London Post, it's from him, Kaya, Will, and Nathalie. To save time and money, they mailed your presents together in one package. Will texted you, saying that when you open the London Post package, you can open his present right away because he said it's "fragile" and it has to be opened immediately.

You got home from school. You stopped at your mailbox and opened it. There were bills, the newspaper, and an envelope from Dylan. You expected that because he told you that his Christmas present was coming in an envelope.

There was also a thin package from Snapfish, which was the photo album for Thomas. You checked the photo album to make sure that everything looked perfect. Well, except for one thing. You went to the back of the album and taped the two-by-two photo booth picture on the last page of the album.

Another few days went by and more packages were delivered to your house. Some of them were from the cast, while others are stuff that your parents ordered. You opened two packages. One of them was the Yankee candles for the girls and your female teachers. The other was the personalized ornaments for the boys. Once all of your presents have been bought or delivered, your mom helped you wrap them up and put them into boxes, so that they can get mailed.

With all of these presents coming and going, it feels like Santa came early this year. You can hardly wait to open your presents from the cast. Only thirteen more days until Christmas. You can only imagine the looks on their faces when they open their presents from you. You put a lot of thought and love into those gifts for your new friends/cast mates.

You also included your family's Christmas card, along with the presents. It had six of your senior pictures, says "Merry Christmas from the l/ns" in the middle of the pictures, and says "Merry Christmas from our family to yours. Love, y/dad/n, y/mom/n, and y/n" on the back. Now, the presents are ready to be mailed to the cast.

Merry Early Christmas!
