《Senior Year》I'm Done

It felt good to talk to Thomas, Ki Hong, and Dexter about what happened. Luckily, they just finished an interview when you called, so you didn't interrupt them. Speaking of interview, Wes scheduled you to FaceTime at an interview tomorrow after school.
~~~~~~~~~~
The next day, you were walking down the hallway to find Kendra, Gwen, or Emily. Your theatre arts teacher found you in the hallway. She called your name, lowered her eyes, and gestured you to come to her.
'What now?' you thought.
She took you into the theatre arts classroom. You were anticipating the moment of impact. She gave you her disappointed face.
'Here it comes.' you thought.
"I'm sorry." she apologized.
You were shocked because you were expecting something like another thing to accuse you of or yell at you.
"Okay. I don't understand." you said.
"I'm sorry for not letting you explain your side of the story. I'm sorry for yelling. And, I'm sorry for cutting you." she apologized.
You took a moment to take in her apology and decided to be the better person.
"Well, I appreciate that. What made you come to your senses?" you asked.
Your director took a deep breath.
"The other cast members stood up for you and they're right. It's too late in the game to cut one of the main characters." she said.
You were surprised that she admitted that she was wrong.
"So, what do you say? Will you come back into Game of Tiaras?" she asked.
You thought for a few seconds.
"No." you simply said.
"Why not? I'm giving you the chance to come back and you're not gonna take it?" she questioned.
"I'm tired of being your punching bag. Why don't you treat some kids differently than others? What did I do to make you hate me?" you said.
You had frustration and brokenness in your voice. You felt relieved because it felt so good to finally get that off your heart. It felt like a big weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
She gave you her disappointment face again.
"Okay." she said, then walked back to her desk.
You walked out of the classroom. When you shut the door, you stuck your tongue out. You walked down the hallways to find Kendra, Gwen, or Emily. You found Emily and told her what happened. She was proud of you for finally standing up to her.
The rest of the day went by pretty slow. The bell rang and you left your English class. You went out to your car and started it. It feels nice that you get go straight home and not have rehearsals. You started on your homework when you got home.
Right as you put everything away, you got a text from Wes.
He said: "The interview starts in five minutes. If a number from California calls you, it's us."
You responded "okay."
You put everything back in your backpack and you sat back at your desk.
You propped your phone up and a number from California was trying to FaceTime you. You hit the accept button and waited for the signal to connect. Then, you saw Dylan, Thomas, Kaya, Will, and an interviewer on the screen. They all said hi and waved to you.
The interview began. There were questions about the journey of making the Scorch Trials. It felt a little weird that they have to talk to you through a TV. When the interview was over, you got a text from Gwen asking why you dropped out of the play. You explained everything that happened that morning.
Rogue Dungeon: A LitRPG Adventure
From James A. Hunter, author of Viridian Gate Online and War God's Mantle! Check out my first attempt at a Dungeon litRPG Novel! Roark von Graf—hedge mage and lesser noble of Traisbin—is one of only a handful of Freedom fighters left, and he knows the Resistance’s days are numbered. Unless they do something drastic … But when a daring plan to unseat the Tyrant King goes awry, Roark finds himself on the run through an interdimensional portal, which strands him in a very unexpected location: an ultra-immersive, fantasy video game called Hearthworld. He can’t log out, his magic is on the fritz, and worst of all, he’s not even human. Now, he’s a low-class, run-of-the-mil Dungeon monster. Some disgusting, blue-skinned creature called a Troll. At least there’s one small silver lining—Roark managed the grab a powerful magic artifact on his way through the portal, and with it he might just be able to save the world after all. Unless, of course, the Tyrant King gets to him first …Hey everyone, so as most of you know, I write books for a living, and I just put this title up on Amazon (and enrolled it in KU). Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter
Rise of a Scarlet Devil (Regular+Draft Version)
A young girl slain during a war was brought back to life by some unknown force millennia later. She could only remember a vague face within her memories, uncertain as to who it was but there was one thing she did know. She needed to kill that person. But she was too weak, she needed to hide, to grow. She needed to flee from the battlefield her enemy reigns over. And to do so, she needed to run eastward, towards Helios, a safe haven for those who have lost their homes in the war. And where she would grow to become the strongest Hunter under her own strength. What was it that brought her back? Only time will tell. #Author's Note The novel is organized like this:Regular Chapters (Act, Title, Part (ranging from 1 to 9))Draft Chapter DisclaimerDraft Chapters (Entry Number, Perspective, Title, Part (ranging from i to ii)) Regular chapters are edited chapters that reflect the story aspect more while Draft chapters reflect plot progression more. An occasional interactive chapter will appear in the drafts but nowhere in the regular chapters. Expect changes when reading between Regular and Draft chapters as some events in the story may change in length or entirely removed/changed. Only read the draft version if you want a future view and/or opinion on the story and design elements. The main character is a human from a fantasy world reincarnated as a devil. The story possesses Reincarnators, Transmigrators, and Summoned Persons. though mainly focusing on Magic and other abilities such as Aura and Skills. Wizards (those who prepare arcane spells) and Mages (those who use elemental magic) are separate but seen as the same by common inhabitants of the world but clearly defined as different by more influential persons and by the circles themselves. The main character WILL not be a Mage or Wizard but will incorporate mana into her attacks to aid her as does any high-rank combatants. The system in the novel quantifies a person's abilities and keeps record of them but does not define natural ability, occasionally granting special abilities as skills to a person once prerequisites are met. There is no leveling system and no occupational systems in the novel featuring only a stat based and skill based system. Also, this novel is my first and will most likely be trash.
