《Senior Year》Goodbye Again

Just as you finished your bagel, you heard footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Dylan, Thomas, Ki Hong, and Will.
"Wow. Someone's up early." Will said.
"Yeah. My hunger woke up." you said.
Thomas kissed the top of your head as a way of saying good morning. Him and Ki Hong sat at the island with you. Dylan and Will started to get stuff out of the cabinets to make pancakes.
Your phone vibrated in the counter. You got a text message from Gwen. It was a GIF of Dylan, Thomas, and Will running away. At the bottom, it said "School Tomorrow."
You laughed.
"What is it, tiger?" Ki Hong asked.
"My friend, Gwen sent me a GIF of Dylan, Thomas, and Will running and it says 'School Tomorrow' at the bottom." you explained.
Then, showed them the GIF and they started to laugh. It was when they played the Fugitive game at the studio and they had to run away from Kaya.
Just then, Gwen sends you something else. It's a video. She says, "This is Gally in Narnia."
[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]
You played the video. The four of you busted out laughing when Will's character faints. You guys got your laughter under control.
"Will, your voice and height has changed since than." Dylan told him.
"Yeah, yeah. That's enough of that or you guys aren't getting breakfast." Will threatened.
The four of you held up your hands in mock surrender.
A little while later, everyone else came downstairs.
"Y/n, when do you fly back home?" Rosa asked.
"Not until 5:00pm." you answered.
"So, what can we all do until than?" Jacob asked.
"I definitely want to get another slushy before I leave." you said.

Everyone seemed to agree with that. Who wouldn't? Those slushies are awesome.
Wes came downstairs. He sat down on the couch with his laptop. You needed to ask him something.
"Hey Wes." you said.
"Yes?" he said, looking up from his computer screen.
You walked over to the couch and sat down next to him.
"How can I do the interviews if I'm not here?" you asked.
"Huh? I haven't thought about that. Didn't you say that you leave school early?" Wes asked.
"Yes. I have senior release every day. During that break time, I like to get my homework done before I have to go rehearsal from 3:30pm-7:00pm." you explained.
Wes looked like he was processing all of that, then he came up with a plan. He'll text you if they want you in the interview. If you're available, an interview coordinator will set up a TV in the interview and you'll be there through FaceTime.
After that, Will and Dylan finished making breakfast and everyone else ate.
~~~~~~~~~~
You guys ended up spending the rest of the day down at the pool and playing the Wii. Around, 2:45pm, you took a shower and packed up your stuff. After you were done, the others came in and took showers. Then, all of you walked to the slushy stand. You guys got the same flavors as the other times. You and Thomas took a selfie of you guys enjoying the cherry slushies.
It was about 3:30pm and you planned on being there two hours before your flight. You guys walked back to the rental house. Thomas helped you put your things in Dexter's car. You gave them all hugs before leaving.
Dexter and Thomas drove you to the airport. You went through baggage claim, security, and got on the plane. You looked out the window.
Goodbye again.
8 106Plague Time
Plague Time is the new virus killing folks in America. Set in December 2023, Curt Joiner recounts how the Plague was created and, if that wasn't bad enough, now he and his bloodline are stalked by a demon. Well, she wasn't a demon at first; first she was a young girl on a plantaion during the civil war. In 1865, amid the chared ruins of Georgia, she made a deal to get her fancy dresses and sweets back. You know who she made the deal with. All she had to do was stalk the men of Curt's family and pick off one per generation. Plauge Time is when Curt's number comes up. He’s writing to set the record straight, he says, but really he is pouring out the truth in the hopes that his wife will read it and forgive him. Or if not forgive, at least understand that he was an unfaithful husband and a cowardly man all on his own, but had outside help on the road to final damnation.
8 139Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
8 128Path of Salvation
Not far outside the public eye lie wonders forgotten by mankind. Magic, Spirits, Powers... With time and with the power of a crumbling oath the common folk forgot what wonders and horrors they could bring simply because they wished to do so. As a select few of special individuals suffer under these excrutiating conditions of secrecy, magic, and the status quo, one such special individual sees a way out of a life he deemed cruel. Wanting to start over, he intends to take on the duty of handling these pressures as a means to make his life worth living.Even if it may break him, even if Hyperion lives a life far worse than the one before, at least he'll know, as the martyr he is at heart, that his sacrifice helped others while also unaware that others are willing to do the opposite if there's even a small chance that it could help him. Going on a hiatus that may last until the next Writathon; currently burned out with writers block (Started May 23rd)
