《Senior Year》Picnic

After showering, you went back out in the living room. You grabbed the remote and searched for something to watch.
"Y/n, your food's ready." Kat called.
You got up from the couch and went into the kitchen. There was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with Doritos on a plate. You and the girls sat at the island. After you guys were done eating, you all sat on the couch. You found a recorded episode of Dr. Phil on the DVR.
The episode was about a twenty year old girl who believes she's "the best dancer in the world" and she wants to drop of school to pursue her dream. Just as the tape piece was coming on, the boys were coming inside.
"Dexter, you have to see this girl on Dr. Phil." Kaya said to him.
"Why? Who's on there?" he asked.
"This girl believes she's the best dancer in the world." you said.
"Oh really?" Dexter questioned.
"Yeah. Don't worry, you can out-dance her any day." Kat said.
"I'm gonna shower. Don't watch that without me. I wanna see this." Dexter said.
All of the boys went upstairs. Since that you girls couldn't watch TV, you guys talked while waiting. The girls asked you about senior year and what you're excited about. Then, there were loud thumps coming down the stairs. It was Dexter. He sat himself next to you and said to hit play. Throughout the episode, it seems like she gets too confident, then that makes her get cocky.
The best thing happened. Dr. Phil invited Lady Gaga's choreographer to teach her an audition dance, then evaluated her "skills." He said that she complained too much and didn't have the preciseness of the dance. Then, he said, "The fact is even if she was the best dancer on the planet, with an ego and an attitude with that, no one would wanna work with her."

That is one of the most important things about the performing industry. People won't hire you if you're gonna be difficult to work with.
When the episode was over, you guys played Wii Sports. Rosa and Will boxed each other, and Rosa won. You and Thomas played tennis. All of you played bowling. Wes came back around 4:30pm. He's been helping set up the interview. He came in with a big plater of Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets, plates, and utensils. You guys changed clothes and got drinks. You all went the park in the neighborhood. There was a big grass area, which was the perfect picnic spot.
A big blanket was spread out and you all sat in a circle. The nuggets and utensils were in the middle. You got twelve nuggets and opened a Coke. Dexter took a video of all of you at the picnic. You and Thomas took a selfie together. After you guys were done eating, you fell back onto the grass. You rested your arms behind your head and stared at the clouds.
"Hey guys. I have something for us to do." Wes said.
You all sat up. He brought out some orange yarn.
"So, you guys are going to toss the yarn around, wrap it around your hand and say something that you've enjoyed about the Maze Runner journey so far. After everyone has gone, we'll break the yarn together." Wes explained.
It looked like a big, orange spider web in the middle of the circle. It was heartwarming to hear everyone's memories. You all pulled away and the yarn broke.

Is That A Wisp?
Author’s Note: The start of the story is very slow and cliche. Give it a chance until the wisp reaches the human cities. It’s at that point that the book’s charm shows itself (Around chapter 20, all free!).

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

The Children of the Divine Limit
A realistic, psychological isekai: What pushes people to rejoice, to torture, to sacrifice, to kill? What gives some the will to survive and thrive in a new land and others the craving for dominance and exploitation? What would those who grew up without power all their lives do when given the approval and blessings of God Himself? How far will someone go to protect those close to them? How far will someone go to exact vengeance against an unjust world? How far can someone go before the abyss looks back at them? "Everything in the world is about sex — except sex. Sex is about power." - Oscar Wilde “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” - Abraham Lincoln Greed is the worst of all the deadly sins; all of human history lays out the evidence to support this thesis. Consider all of the above before reading this story: A 12th-grade high school class is sent to another world; a world of sword and magic called Omicron where other-worlders are revered as heroes given the divine blessing of the Lord God Sapiora, creator of Omicron's human race. It is currently a world at war. The humans of Omicron need these divine heroes as weapons against the Demon Emperor and the demihuman forces of the evil god Azazelin. However, two students within the class, Ajax Leonid and Shaula Seikennith, haven't been given the hero's blessing. They've been given something else, something more curious; the blood of a deity who noticed their specialness. As a result, after escaping the clutches of their summoners who tried to kill them for their lack of heroic potential, Ajax and Shaula enter the new world of Omicron with no one on their side except each other. While wading through rivers of blood, Ajax and Shaula seek a stable life, a life where they can salvage happiness. They have each other above all else. Perhaps the cost will be worth it. Perhaps not.
