2. Romance
Romance is basically the main concept of all such serials. Some of these do start with a completely original topic, but within a few months all we see is the same sloppy romance. Rarely once in a blue moon do we get some different and a fresh theme where everything is not all about romance.
Basic plot: A man falls in love. After three months or so he proposes to her. After six months she complies. The boy convinces the girl's family. The girl convinces the boy's family. Some final masala. Some complications. Problem solved.. Happily ever after.
