"Good job protecting your litte sister, Boruto!"
A familiar voice was heard as Himawari opened her eyes only to see her father locked in a kunai battle with the tentacles. Naruto had a slight wound on his lower abdomen but to him, it was nothing.
"Tou-chan!" shouted Himawari in relief as she quickly tended to the fallen Boruto.
"Take your brother back to the inn where everyone else is! I'll take care of this snake bastard!" shouted Naruto as he began his fight with Orochimaru.
Himawari nodded as she struggled to carry Boruto on her back, slowly walking back to the inn.
~X~
Both Naruto and Orochimaru were involved in a heated battle again, as the ground trembled with their vicious moves.
"Why do you keep coming after the kids huh?" asked Naruto as he swooped down with a rasengan.
"That is none of your concern, Hokage..." snickered Orochimaru as he easily dodged.
"I guess you won't say anything until I capture you-ttebayo!" said Naruto as he started to form handseals.
A thousand shadow clones appeared before him, each with a rasengan in its hands. Orochimaru on the other hand, had several tentacles appeared from his back that began to spout poison and fire.
~X~
Back at the inn. everyone quickly tended to Boruto and Himawari. She explained their current situation and everyone decided that they could only believe in the hokage beacuse they can't fight yet.
The children stood anxiously as they watched the two men fight. Boruto was left to rest after being covered in bandages.
"Hokage-sama..." mumbled Sarada as she quietly watched.
"Hey, think we can fry that snake to eat later?" joked Chocho as she continued stuffing food into her mouth.
"Not a good time to play jokes ChoCho" sighed Inojin.

"After this, let's just go home already. We've had enough things to deal with." sighed Shikadai.
"I'm sure Papa can definitely win this time!" said Himawari with assurance.
~X~
The battle between Naruto and Orochimaru continued, attracting the eyes of passer-bys who quickly rushed to safety. It was obvious that Naruto's camouflage had already been destroyed and word began to spread that Konoha's Seventh Hokage was around.
This meant a bigger danger.
"Shit, my cover's blown!" said Naruto as he attempted to jump onto the inn's roof.
"I'm not done with you yet." said Orochimaru as he chased after him.
Naruto then sent eye signals to Sarada, telling her to get everyone out of the inn. He knew it was time to leave, and head back home. It was now too dangerous for the children now that his identity has been revealed.
~X~
"Guys! The Hokage-sama told us to get out of here now!" said Sarada to the others.
"Someone help me to carry Boruto!" said Inojin as he struggled to lift him onto his back.
"How troublesome." sighed Shikadai as he offered to help.
"Let's go!"
It was then both Naruto and Orochimaru fell into the roof, reaching the floor.
"Tou-chan!" shouted Himawari as she attempted to run to his side but was immediately stopped by Sarada.
"Guys! I'll meet you at the forest! It's too dangerous!" said Naruto as he was quickly pushed to the side by Orochimaru.
The children obeyed his words and immediately left the inn.
This made Naruto sigh in relief as he continued to fight. He needed to find a way to escape from Orochimaru because he knew, fighting was worthless.
"I'm still impressed that you've got no scratches yet Hokage.." snickered Orochimaru.
"I've got no time to talk to you Orochimaru." said Naruto in anger as he took a step back.

"We are just getting started Hokage."
"Guess I'll have to use Father's technique.." mumbled Naruto to himself as he slowly took out some strangely-shaped kunais.
"Show me your true potential, Naruto!" yelled Orochimaru as an even bigger snake appeared from his arm.
"Sorry, let's postpone this fight later. Flying Thunder God Technique!" shouted Naruto as he suddenly vanished into thin air.
~X~
At a forest near the inn, the children waited anxiously for the return of the Hokage. Suddenly, they could hear a rustle among the trees and prepared themselves with kunais in their hands.
"W-Who's there?" shouted Inojin with a trembling voice.
"It's the Hokage dattebayo!" smiled Naruto as he appeared from the bush. Despite his wounds and cuts on his clothes, Naruto was all smiles as he reunited with the kids.
"Where's the snake guy gone?" asked Sarada as she looked around.
"Somewhere. Well, we'd better go back home now!" said Naruto with an assuring smile.
"Finally." sighed Shikadai.
"I can't wait to eat Mom's cooking again!" said Himawari with a grin.
"We're heading home dattebayo!" grinned Naruto.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
