A week later...
"Good morning students, this is Miss Le Blanche your new History teacher" The Dean introduced me in front of my so called students
An All Girls Catholic School, it is where I applied
I gave them a shy smile and nodded my head lightly
"Miss a question" A girl raised her hand and I was giddy since I got to answer my first question
"Yes what is it"
"How old are you?" She asked and a chuckle escaped my mouth
"I'm twenty three years old" I have the girl a smile and she whispered something at her seatmate then that seatmate also raised her hand
"Miss do you have a boyfriend?" She asked and I smiled and shook my head
I like girls honey. Men? Ew
"I'll leave the class to your hands Miss Le Blanche. Make sure to discipline these troublemakers" The Dean then patted my shoulder
"P-Pardon? Troublemakers?" I asked stammering but the Dean already left. I let out a sigh and faced my students
My eyes widen when their behavior changed immediately as soon as the Dean walked out of the room. I cleared my throat to get their attention but nothing happened
"Hey Miss, I bet I could make you cum with these fingers" One girl said then gave me a seductive smirk
"Uhm that's a little inappropriate..."
"Yelena, nice to meet you Miss" That Yelena girl sat on my desk and scanned my body inappropriately. I let out a sigh and tapped the table
I wasn't like this when I was in high school
"I suggest you go back to your seat Yelena" I said and crossed my arms. All she did was flirt with me so I pulled out a bat underneath the table with a smile plastered on my face

I came prepared
"You don't want to get hit do you?" I asked smiling politely
"W-What?" Yelena asked while eyeing the bat
"One, two, three-" Yelena got off the table and the girls began to sit on their own arrangements
"That wasn't so hard, once again I'm Miss Le Blanche. I'll be your history teacher whether you like it or not" I placed the bat down and smiled
"I need words girls!"
"Yes Miss!" I smiled proudly and opened the textbook
My mom didn't beat me up through my childhood for nothing.
"Oh God that's hot" Someone whispered and I flipped my hair
Oh I know I'm hawt~
I began with my lesson and let me tell you, my students we're really good!
"Bye Miss!"
"Miss your ass looks amazing!" I turned around and shot them a glare but all they did was laugh
It was now break so I had to go to the office to hand in my report. When I arrived there I knocked then I heard something saying come in
I opened the door but when I saw who it was I froze and my mouth parted in shock
"Miss Le Blanche... or should I say sweetness. What brings your fine ass here?" Natasha asked while licking her lips
"You? Chairwoman?!"

It's the beginning of a series I know I'm going to enjoy, with great writing and hints of deep in-game lore. The characters are fun, the plot is engaging, and I never know what is going to happen next. The action is fast, brutal and realistic. This is one of my favorite LitRPG stories in the entire genre.” - Blaise Corvin, author of Delvers LLC: Welcome to Ludus and Secret of the Old Ones “A great first foray into LitRPG. At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.

Solace Laurent and Sage Reyes never got along. They fought and competed over everything, whether it was grades or afterschool clubs. She hated his arrogant, I-don't-care-about-the-rules behaviour and he loved to annoy her. Not one day went by in high school when an argument didn't break out until he disappeared without a trace. Solace, along with Sage's family and the entire school, thought he was dead. After months of criminal investigations, search parties, and missing persons posters, he was nowhere to be found. But what happens when Sage shows up at her doorsteps in the middle of the night, bruised and bloody?***"Sage?" whispered Solace in utter shock. He smirked at her as he leaned against the doorframe, looking her up and down from her blue penguin pajamas to her oversized t-shirt until he met her eyes. She felt a rush of emotions when she heard his voice after six months. It was the same: deep, unbothered, and familiar. "Solace Laurent, I need your help."
