As the 7D and Empathy all got to the castle, they popped out of the Funnel Tunnels and they each gave the queen a genuine salute.
Dwarves: THE 7D-
Empathy: And Empathy... (to herself) I'm quickly starting to get used to this.
The 7D and Empathy: AT YOUR MAJESTY'S SERVICE!!!!
Queen Delightful: The 7D, R- Empathy! So glad you made it!
The dwarves and 1 human were in awe as they saw the queen walking towards them while wearing a sparkling bright pink gown. Lord Starchbottom was wearing a lime green tux and pants and an orange necktie. He was walking her down the aisle while holding on to the bottom of her dress. Bashful nearly had a nosebleed when he saw Queen D in her dress.
Bashful: Q-Queen Delightful, you're so floomin' beautiful.
Delightful: Aww, thank you, Bashful. (kisses Bashful on the cheek)
Bashful: (sighs, then faints)
Grumpy: He's still a little shy.
Doc: Now how about you?
Grumpy: Hell, no! I'm not shy! I'm just a little bit une-
Doc: (kisses Grumpy on the cheek)
Grumpy: (sighs, then faints)
Happy, Empathy, Dopey, Sleepy, Sneezy, Delightful and Bashful, who had just gotten up off the ground after fainting, like, 30 seconds ago, all giggled at the rational couple. All Starchy did was just roll his eyes, as he unexpectedly doesn't like seeing them together romantically.
Starchy: Benches .
An hour later, the Jollypalooza concert had already begun. All the village people , along with the queen and Starchy, were seated down, even right before it started. There were 2 mysterious people who looked EXACTLY like the Glooms in disguise. Happy got up on stage to tell everyone that Empathy is about to perform.
Happy: Ladies and jolly men, expect the unexpected. Who we have tonight is the talented, charismatic #1 fan of me and the rest of the 7D, who might get a chance to eventually be a member of the team.

Empathy was behind the curtain, straightening out her tux, and she grinned at the last thing that Happy said.
Happy: Please welcome Empathy!
Sadly, no one, except for the queen , applauded when the curtain opened up and Empathy was still straightening out her tux. She awkwardly stood silent a few seconds, with cricket chirps and a slight cough from an audience member being heard. She glanced towards the side of the edge of the stage to see that my precious dwarfskies were all giving her a thumbs up.
Dopey: (whistles "You got this, Em!")
Bashful: Yeah, you got this, Empathy! (under his breath) I love you.
The human did, in fact, hear what Bashie-Cakes had just said, although they were a few feet apart from each other.
Empathy: I love you too, Bash.
She cleared her throat, went up to the microphone and just started the song off with a gentle tone, with random piano music suddenly being played by Happy in the background.
Empathy: 🎵Everybody's got a thing, but some don't know how to handle it. Always reachin' out in vain, just takin' the things not worth having. But don't you worry 'bout a thing, don't you worry 'bout a thing, mama. 'Cause I'll be standin' on the side when you check it out, oh.🎵
Happy begin to play a happy-go-lucky tune on the piano, then Empathy started singing loudly .
Empathy: 🎵They say your style of life's a drag and that you must go other places.🎵
The audience actually begin to cheer Empathy on.
Empathy: 🎵Just don't you feel too bad when you get fooled by smiling faces. Don't you worry 'bout a THIIIIIIIING!!! Don't you worry 'bout a thing, baby. 'Cause I'll be standing on the side when you check it o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-u-t! When you get o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-f-f your trip! Don't you worry 'bout a thing, don't you worry 'bout a thing. Come on, everybody needs a change, a chance to check out the new, yeah. You're the only one to sees the changes you take yourself through! Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, ooh-uh (hits a very high note) AAAAHHH!!!!!!!!🎵

The crowd went wild at Empathy's performance, even Starchy didn't know that she could sing like that, but she wasn't done just yet.
Empathy: 🎵Don't you worry 'bout a thing (Delightful: A-a-ayy!), don't you worry 'bout a thing! (The 7D: A-a-ayy!) Don't you worry 'bout a thing (Starchy: A-a-ayy!), don't you worry 'bout a thing! (One of the 2 mysterious people in the audience: A-a-ayy!) Oh! Pa-pa-p, pa-pa-pa-pa, pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa! Pa-pa-p, pa-pa-pa-pa, pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa! Don't you worry 'bout a thing, don't you worry 'bout a thing, mama. 'Cause I'll be standin' on the side when you check it o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-u-t! When you get o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-f-f your trip! Don't you worry 'bout a thing, don't you worry 'bout a thing, mama! 'Cause I'll be standin'! (The 7D, Queen D and Starchy: I'll be standin' for you!) Ooh, ooh, wooooooah, don't you worry 'bout a THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!🎵
The crowd once again went wild at Empathy's performance. The queen happily jumped out of her chair.
Delightful: That's what I like! (rapidly shakes Starchy) THAT'S OUR EMPATHY!!!!!
Starchy: Lucky for you, that's what I like.
They both went up to Empathy and hugged her. My precious dwarfskies also hugged her too. She was proud of herself for how her performance went and she took a bow for the audience.

She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. After their fateful misadventure in the mountainous Norther Reaches of RUNDAO, a dark new threat to all of RUNDAO has been revealed to the mercenary band of THE CREEPING BAM and their newest member, half-orc bandit SHAYLINE SWIFT-KILL. Returning their hard-won cargo to THE SILVER ORDER in their city stronghold in BAVAT, they find their well-deserved rest will have to rest – half-elf wizard GAEL FOXTAIL’s father has disappeared while performing an investigation in the coastal city of UNTERMER, and it’s up to our motley crew to find him. As a son of Untermer, wily bakaneko thief ART OF SHADOWS is the perfect choice to lead the way, but he has ghosts of his own to face as their investigation brings them into the orbit of the THIEVES GUILD. But there are daker forces at work here, and as they uncover a dark conspiracy and form an uneasy alliance with a trio of tough sellswords with their own stake in the game, led by dwarven warrior THELGAEWYNN FROSTFORGE, the Creeping Bam begin to suspect this may be connected to that unfinished business they started back up north … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
