《Despacito • Marcus Armstrong》Come to Bahrain

It was race weekend! Marcus was already in Bahrain for the first of two weekends there and he still had Callum's question in his head "... as friend or as future girlfriend?". He was really enjoying talking to the girl, especially since they started facetiming. But Marcus was afraid to catch feels; he never got into a relationship since he became formula driver, and he wanted to be with someone that cared for him, not someone who was with him only for the fame.
Not that Tita seemed like that, but he just didn't want to be hurt.
- Hey, Armstrong. - Lundgaard, Marcus' teammate, said, finding him sitting on the couch, starring off into space. - Everything's okay?
- It's nothing, don't worry.
- You sure? - he insisted.
- Yeah, it's just lady trouble. Something I have to take off my head before quali.
- I have some free time if you want to talk about it.
- So, I have been talking with this girl for two weeks; we are really getting along, and I asked Callum and Gianluca if I should invite her to Bahrain next week, which Callum questioned "as friend or future girlfriend". I'm still trying to find the answer.
- Do you like her?
- I don't know, I barely know her. I mean, we've been talking and we've become closer, but I guess I'm just a bit apprehensive.
- Go for it, man. You have nothing to lose. But if you want an answer and want to know what she wants, make things more obvious with her.
- Chris is right. - Callum interupted them - If you want the girl, you have to make it happen. And, Marcus, don't forget we have to be in Ferrari in half an hour.
Marcus nodded and decided to use that spare time to call Tita.

- Hey, what's up? - he greated the girl when she picked up.
- Not much, I got home from classes, and I'm waiting for F2 quali. Shouldn't you be doing something, instead of facetiming me?
- Actually, I had some time, and I thought I could get a good luck wish. - he pouted, which made her laugh
- You don't need luck, Marcus. You are the best F2 pilot, right? - she teased him and he pretended to be mad. - Alright, I guess I can wish you good luck just because.
- Gotta say that I love it to have you wish me good luck - Tita blushed with the boy's words but she tried to cover it and was glad when he decided to change the subject - By the way, I have something I want to ask you.
- Shoot it!
- Come to Baharain.
A few seconds passed and before the girl could react, Marcus was talking again.
- Oh, this actually didn't sound like a question, more like a request but I wanted you to come see me at the next race, the last of the season.
- Watch the race?

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

The Solipsist
Every novel needs a main character, and in this case, it's a young man named Jacob Bates. Jacob is your average guy who likes books, television, and long walks on the beach. One day, Jacob was diagnosed with a condition that made his body frail and weak. This drove Jacob to focus solely on his studies, ending up becoming a fairly capable guy, despite his condition. The road ahead was looking great! That's when a little scene occurred between Jacob's girlfriend and one of his male classmates. Jacob's mood was a little lower than dirt from thereon. His motivation to pursue his studies, gone. This event caused Jacob to fall into the death grip that is a job in retail. One day, while Jacob was mopping the cold floors of the grocery store he worked in, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him, notifying him that the world was going through a change. Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)

Up In Space
New chapter every other day Iain Compton never planned to be abducted by an alien spaceship. It just… happened. Oh, and then there's this gorgeous alien woman who he probably shouldn’t trust at all. His plan is to find a way home to Earth, even if its unlikely to be remotely the same; to find a better class of companions among an often strange and inexplicable galactic community, at least one who won’t use him or sell him out at the first opportunity; and to do something about the parasites in his brain who are supposed to connect him to a library the size of the galaxy, but seem to only be telling him that almost everyone and everything he comes across wants to kill him. But at least he can still send tweets.
