and so, the evening of the sleepover, everyone filed into jin's dorm in a hurry. pillows, blankets, and snacks of all sorts. jeongguk had yoongi's help carrying in his stuff while he walked in with his crutches. after everyone had gotten situated in the dorm, they were quick to talk to each other. well, everyone except jeongguk. he was still a little hesitant on speaking. He knew that, deep inside himself, he could speak, but something was holding him back.
yoongi took notice of this and leaned over, giving jeongguk a sincere look. "are you okay, baby? you aren't talking as much as you usually would."
jeongguk nodded quickly, giving his fiance a small smile. yoongi, of course, didn't believe him and continued to interrogate him. jeongguk never gave in, though, being more stubborn than he usually would be. yoongi found this frustrating and eventually gave up.
"you're asking for it tomorrow night, acting all stubborn and not talking to me," yoongi whispered into jeongguk's ear, and a blush bloomed onto his cheeks. yoongi smirked and turn back to everyone else, continuing to talk to them. jeongguk was way too skittish and embarrassed to talk at that moment.
more into the night, he opened up more and was way more animated and social than he was at the start. this really only started when they all began to play mario kart together. jeongguk won multiple times, but even so, people were having fun messing around and yelling remarks at each other. this reminded them all of their high school days, where they had little to nothing about the world, but then, now, they had the whole word to worry about.
after they had finished dinner up, they said their good nights to each other and shut off the lights. some of them tried to sleep, but jeongguk, jimin, seokjin, and hoseok kept them all up, joking around with each other. this resulted in loud laughing and wheezing. yoongi was frowning, really wanting to fall asleep, namjoon was trying to get seokjin to sleep as well. of course, none of it worked. the four of them continued to joke around, and even yugyeom joined it.

at around midnight, everything had settled down, and they were all falling asleep peacefully. yoongi was next to jeongguk, holding him close while rubbing his hair in the process. he loved how soft and silky jeongguk's hair was, it was probably his favorite part of the boy's body features.
jeongguk whined, flipping over to face yoongi. he was about to complain how he couldn't fall asleep, but yoongi didn't even allow the first word out of him when he connected their lips together. jeongguk was surprised at first, but he kissed back. he truly did love yoongi, he really did. he loved these moments when it was just complete silence, and their actions spoke for themselves.
yoongi pulled away, giving an adoring smile towards his fiance. "is there something wrong, jeongguk?"
jeongguk shook his head. "no, i'm just vibin," he whispered, recalling one of their first conversations. yoongi smiled. "vibin?"
jeongguk giggled. "ugh, don't tell me you're a boomer or something..."
yoongi remembered the conversation perfectly. "as far as i know, i'm not a boomer."
"and how can i know for sure?" jeongguk asked cheekily. yoongi laughed, pinching jeongguk's cheeks. "you decide that."
they connected their lips once again for one final kiss before the fell asleep. in their dreams, they saw each other there, in the future, happily married and living their best lives.
it was all so perfect through the imperfections. though they had gone through so much, they knew that, in the end, right now, they were together, and that's how it would stay. that's how they hoped it would stay.
besides, what can go wrong when you're just vibin?
