the next morning, the six boys drove to the hospital, where they then checked in, got their badges, and headed up to the fifth floor, where jeongguk was being held. yoongi knew his way around a hospital, and so finding jeongguk's room was a breeze. slowly, they opened the door and peeked inside.

the tv faintly played as jeongguk's right leg was being held up. his arms were fine, thankfully, but there was definitely a bruise on one of them. probably from when he fell onto the ground. he was obviously awake, since the tv was up and running. yoongi shoved through the door and slipped onto the ground. this scared jeongguk.

"yo! wha? who the fuck..."

yoongi stood up, looking at jeongguk and his state. jeongguk looked at him before smiling a little bit.

"yoongi," he breathed out. yoongi almost began to cry. he nodded, walking over and engulfing the boy into a hug. jeongguk wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, crying lightly.

"oh my god i'm so sorry hyung. i should've gone with you. i'm so sorry-"

"shh sh, it's okay, i'm here. you're alive. that's all that matters," yoongi said softly. the five other boys cooed, slowly making their way inside. yoongi didn't let go of his boyfriend.

"yoongi stop hogging jeongguk to yourself. we wanna hug him too."

"piss off. he's not your boyfriend," yoongi said, looking at namjoon, who had said it, before going back to hugging his boyfriend.

"kay... yoongi baby i love you but either it's gonna be my mind or the drugs that kicks in that makes me go haywire..."

"jeongguk, what drugs..?"

"you know them medicine drugs that make you go oopsy loopsy. it's to distract me from the pain in my legs," jeongguk said. everyone began to crack up at what he said. seokjin laughed lightly and yoongi looked at his boyfriend in concern.

"you mean meperidine?"

"ye."

yoongi sighed, shaking his head. he backed away from the boy and let everyone else have their moment with him. they all hugged him, especially jimin, who mumbled a quiet sorry. he was truly sorry for his friend. they all stayed like that for quite awhile.

all of the boys left, except for yoongi. he stayed longer. he hugged his boyfriend tightly, not wanting to let go. his brain couldn't process what had happened at all. how could jeongguk have been hit by a car? that's just bad luck.

the door to his room bursted open, much different from when his friends were visiting. yoongi looked up, finding jeongguk's family. they looked horrified. he smiled emphatically at them, especially at the mother. she must've been scared to hear that her son had been hit by a car.

“yoongi? you're here too?”

“he is my boyfriend and he is in pain...”

“i am not in pain, shut up,” jeongguk said, moving his finger around with sass, “i can't even feel my legs.”

yoongi began to snicker. he turned to his family. “i'll step out so you guys can talk to each other.”

yoongi stepped out of the room, sighing. there was a stinging sensation to his nose, which was probably from the sanitizer and other products. the normal hospital smell. he leaked onto the wall, anxious to go back in and see his boyfriend.

“yoongi..?”

his eyes snapped to where he heard his voice. there stood minsu, a soft smile on his face.

“you're here, minsu?”

“jeongin dragged me here, and plus, jeongguk is sorta like a little brother to me,” minsu said, “i'm happy that i've met such an energetic boy.”

yoongi laughed a little. “they truly are brothers, dragging their boyfriends everywhere.”

minsu raised an eyebrow and a small snicker escaped. “where's your boyfriend drag you?”

“anywhere but my bed. i love to sleep, mind you, but jeongguk is the complete opposite.”

“opposites do attract, after all.”

“you're right... they do.”
