“why am i so stupid? one of us should've gone with him!”
seokjin sat outside the emergency room. jimin and taehyung sat close to each other, holding their hands together tightly. namjoon leaned on the wall, phone held up to his ear as he tried to speak to yoongi calmly about what had happened. yoongi, on the other hand, did not like being woken up so early just to found out that his boyfriend had been hit by a car.
namjoon ended the call, sighing and pinching the bridge of his nose. he shook his head. “yoongi isn't taking this lightly.”
“nobody is, namjoon, it's a shock,” jimin said quietly, almost inaudible. seokjin nodded, quiet. everyone clenched their hands together, nervous for the outcome.
after about fifteen minutes, a doctor had came out through the doors. seokjin tensed, looking up at him.
“is anyone here of relation to him?”
everyone shook their heads. “we're all just friends of his-”
the small sound of shoes screeching against the floor was heard. yoongi was almost out of breath. he looked at everyone as if they were dead to him or not even there. hoseok followed after, a look of sadness and guilt on his face. he felt like he was the one to blame for this. the doctor looked at yoongi.
“do you know jeongguk?”
“do i know him? of course i know him! he's my boyfriend for heaven's sake!” yoongi said frantically. namjoon tensed before walking over, shaking the boys shoulder a little. yoongi pushed him away, pointing his left index finger at him. “don't touch me.”
“sir, if you could please step aside and talk to me a little bit,” the doctor said, directing his sentence to yoongi. yoongi nodded at him, sighing. he nodded and was directed to a separate room. the five boys looked at each other.

“yoongi's never acted like this.”
“it's his boyfriend, someone who he actually loves, unlike his ex girlfriend.”
“wait... yoongi has an ex?”
“she's a crazy bitch. threatened to kill herself if he didn't stay with her. he got his family and hers involved and she was sent to a mental institute,” seokjin explained, leaning back in his chair, “she was in florida this summer. she's improved, i think. yoongi didn't share much.”
“jeongguk also has an ex-crush. his ex babysitter,” jimin said with a wiggle of his eyebrows. everyone laughed lightly. they needed jokes to lighten the mood. time passed until yoongi was once again seen, a look of anguish yet relief on his face.
“...he's gonna make it, but his legs may not. we'll just have to let them heal. the doctor said they were pretty strong, so there's a good chance that he will be able to dance again,” yoongi said softly. everyone was silent for a moment before they, one by one, stood up and gathered in a group hug. they stood there for awhile.
“tomorrow, before we move into our dorms, we all come and visit jeongguk, okay?” jimin said quietly. everyone murmured in agreement.
“yo yoongi you can come back to namjoon's. we're sorry we kicked you out.”
“really? great, hoseok's brother's apartment is a mess.”
“seriously yoongi...”

Jalan Suram : The 100 Fire Holders
"Why us?" Still staring at the unusually stationary fire of the candle he was holding, Agung voiced the questions in our mind. "Out of 2 million people living in this city, why are we the chosen ones?" As if on cue, the eerie laughter of children could be heard above us. Holding our own candle tightly, we resolved to ignore them and continued our discussion. It was a matter of life or death after all. More than half of the initial participants had fallen and the building became more crowded as the result. There were now more ghosts than the living and each step was filled with danger from the unknown. Either we solved all the questions now or we would become another addition to the ghost camp. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There was one thing Novita found out after she accepted an invitation to a suspicious event from a seemingly legal company. Crowded didn't exactly mean safe. As more and more variables were added to the dangerous ritual, the higher the risk of death. At the same time, the higher the risk was, the better the rewards for it. But in the end, was it worth it? Note : This series was posted on scribblehub.com under the same name.
