the two ended up actually having a good night. many personal stories were shared and they did play games on the TV. yoongi actually had warmed up to his supposed enemy. they stayed way up into the night, joking around and fantasizing about what they wanted in the future.

"seems like the two are getting along now," jimin called out. the four other boys looked over at jimin. seokjin sighed, smiling to himself.
"yoongi's a good man. when he makes a promise, he'll live up to it," jin stated. namjoon looked at his boyfriend with a soft look. jeongguk sat quietly. the silver fork in his hand gently touching his food. thoughts of his boyfriend flooded his mind, making him loose his train of thought.
"jeongguk, are you okay?"
the younger boy snapped back into reality, looking towards his friend- taehyung- and nodded. the other boys looked at him suspiciously.
"jeongguk, you miss him don't you?" seokjin asked. jeongguk looked at his friend before looking away, laughing nervously.
"sorta..."
"we move into dorms tomorrow, can you wait until then?"
jeongguk nodded. of course he could. he's waited to see his boyfriend for longer periods of time than this. it's just... he missed him and wanted to apologize. for what? for not speaking to him earlier. but that wasn't his fault... was it? seokjin kind of wasn't allowing it, so was it really his fault?
he finished his food and went to clean up the dishes. he was quiet while he rinsed off dishes and bowls and put them in the dishwasher. the other boys came in and gave him their plates before heading back out and going to play some mario kart. he could hear their screams and laughs, which calmed him, yet it made him somewhat jealous. he wanted to be happy like them right now.

yoongi made him happy. he wanted to be with yoongi so badly. he stomped his feet like a little baby penguin and grabbed his phone jumping up onto the counter. he made himself comfortable as he sat down and opened up instagram.

tears threatened to flood his eyes. he sighed, setting his phone down and jumping off the counter. he finished the dishes before walking to the front door and sliding his shoes on. the boys looked at him.
“you going somewhere, guk? it's pouring out there...” jimin said, a little bit concerned. jeongguk turned around and flashed him a fake smile. he wasn't happy.
“just going on a small walk. i'll take this umbrella,” jeongguk said, grabbing the umbrella propped by the door. seokjin looked back, smiling.
“be safe, and bring back namjoon's umbrella.”
“got it, hyung,” jeongguk said. he flashed one last smile before opening the door and walking out. he shut it tightly and began to walk into the pouring rain. he didn't even bother to open the umbrella. the rain soaked his shirt after about five minutes, but he didn't care.
he walked on the sidewalk, avoiding people who came his way. there weren't many people, and the rain was coming down harder. it became more of a struggle to see, but jeongguk didn't care. he continued to walk down the street. it soon became an incline, going down a hill. rainwater raced down the street into the drains.
he then felt a horrible gut feeling, as if he shouldn't be there. as if he should start running or move out of the way of something. he paused, hearing the screech of tires and the sound of a car horn honking. he turned around, his eyes going wide. lights blazed into his eyes.
and then it went black.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)

8 152The Divine Rite: A Warhammer 40,000 Fanfiction
My name is Katherine of the Nine. Some of you may have heard it before. For some, it may be a beacon of hope. For others, an icon of terror. For all I hope it becomes synonymous with truth. Whether you decry my words as heresy against your God Emperor, whether you spread this creed to your fellows, or whether you follow me from this world and into the wider galaxy, you go with my good will. We are brothers and sisters in the seeking of truth, and your path is for you to determine.Do not keep me from my path, and I shall not cut yours short. But know this. Chaos has come for you, to free you from the yoke of the Imperium. Many will see this is true. Many will join us in our mission. And you have but one life to decide which gods your soul will enter the care of.
