《Vibin' • Yoonkook [✔️]》52

yoongi drove steadily, keeping his eyes on the road. his windshield wipers moved like crazy since the rain was coming down so fast. it was quiet. none of the two spoke except for the occasional cough or clearing of their throat. they were heading to hoseok's brother apartment so he could get changed. from there, yoongi would drop him off and leave to who knows where. he'd probably just park somewhere and sleep for the night.
he didn't own an apartment or house or anything just yet. that's why he either stayed with friends or went to daegu to stay with his family. this year was different. since he knew his mother would be home and wouldn't accept his boyfriend, he decided to stay with his friends.
but now he couldn't. they kicked him out. he let out a prolonged sigh, slowing the car down when they got to the red light. he leaned back, running his hand through his damp, sticky hair.
“could you wait to see if my brother isn't home? just saying cause i don't wanna wait there...”
“the fuck?! hoseok, i'm sorry, but if i spend another car ride with you i may just burst.”
“we haven't even spoken to each other!”
“your presence agitates me,” yoongi stated simply. hoseok looked at yoongi, wide-eyed. he huffed, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms. yoongi rolled his eyes and took the wheel into his hands, waiting for the light to turn green. once it did, he began to drive again to the said address.
it took about another fifteen minutes before they arrived. yoongi pulled into the lot and stopped the car in front of the entrance. hoseok looked out the window before unbuckling and opening the door. he looked back at yoongi.

“can you please wait?”
“i said no!”
“but yoongi!”
“ugh! fine! anything to shut you up!” yoongi said. hoseok quietly thanked him and shut the door. yoongi pulled away and parked in one of the open spots. he stopped the car and leaned back. his eyes were closed and he was stressed. he missed his boyfriend already.
he felt bad. an unsettling feeling took root and grew in the pit of his stomach. like a vine or a plant, it wouldn't go away unless it had been uprooted. despite the promise he made for his boyfriend, he wasn't following it. that's why he felt bad. that was the growing plant of guilt inside of him.
he grabbed his phone, but saw that it was almost dead. coincidence? yea, most likely. texting jeongguk didn't sound bad to him, but he imagined that his boyfriend wouldn't want to talk to him. the rain outside poured down harshly, and he scolded himself that he hadn't bought himself an umbrella. it wasn't like he needed one all the time.
a knock at his car window sounded, and there stood hoseok with a soft smile. yoongi unlocked the door, raising his eyebrow.
“my brother was about to leave, but we caught him on time. he said he was visiting a friend's house and wouldn't be back until tomorrow. he said we could stay if we liked.”
“you can stay, i'm leaving.”
“yoongi, i know for a fact that you have nowhere to go,” hoseok said. “stop being stubborn and come inside, you'll get sick.”
“and why do you care?” yoongi harshly remarked. hoseok looked at him before looking away.
“i want jeongguk to think nicely of me again, and what not a better way than to help his boyfriend? yoongi, i feel bad for what i did in the past, please forgive me.” hoseok looked back at yoongi before being solemnly. yoongi felt a feeling inside of him he couldn't quite make out. perhaps... acceptance? he smiled softly, a small laugh following after.
“i guess staying for the night won't be that bad.”

Good triumphs over evil, that is simply the way the world works, no? While this premise is something inherent to nearly all stories, what exactly the heroes used to attain success can differ greatly. Perhaps they've trained themselves to the limit, pushing past boundaries nobody else could hope to achieve. Others still, have merely inherited the grand legacy of another legendary being, but what they have done with such a legacy would cause their names to be passed on for generations. Rowan is one of the heroes who have ventured beyond the horizon, tempering themselves on a perilous journey all the while and succeeding in attaining strength beyond measure. However, in an unexpected turn of events, this strength caused him to tear open and fall through a hole in the realm he resided in. Now he has ended up in a completely foreign realm, whose inhabitants utilized strange powers that eclipsed his own. Fortune would smile upon him this day, however, as he discovered that they were not hostile, and even offered to teach him their ways.
