“jeongguk, baby, wake up, we're here.”
jeongguk struggled awake. his eyes fluttered open, slowly adjusting to the light. the sun was about to set, and buildings surrounded them. yoongi smiled at his boyfriend before turning back towards the road. jeongguk almost fell back asleep, but yoongi stopped the car, parking it.
“are you hungry?”
“i guess so,” jeongguk yawned, stretching a little. yoongi chuckled before stepping out of the car, stretching a little as well. jeongguk followed him as they walked into a small diner. they got a table and two menus, getting two waters. after browsing the menus, they ordered their food and waited.
“you took a very heavy nap, i could see,” yoongi said, “you snored.”
“shut up, i was really tired and holding your hand made it better.”
“alright alright. where do you live again?”
jeongguk gave yoongi his address right before their food was given. they ate, commenting on small things and letting the other have a bite. after finishing and paying, they went back to the car, yoongi driving towards jeongguk's address. it took about thirty minutes before they reached the destination. they exited the car, jeongguk grabbing yoongi's hand and running up to the front door, knocking.
a woman answered, who smiled at jeongguk.
“my precious gukie! how've you been?” she engulfed jeongguk into a hug, which lead to yoongi's hand being dropped from jeongguk's. jeongguk hugged the woman back.
“good, mom, how are you?”
“better now that you're here. your brother arrives later- who's this?”
the woman turned to look at yoongi. he jumped, bowing a little and sticking his hand out to shake her hand. she shook it. “i'm min yoongi, your son's... boyfriend.”
“oh... guk, i didn't know-”
“sorry for not telling you sooner, mom,” jeongguk said. the woman gave a soft smile, ruffling jeongguk's hair.

“it's okay. come on inside, your father is in the kitchen.”
yoongi and jeongguk entered the home, taking off their shoes. jeongguk rushed into the kitchen while yoongi walked behind him. he saw a big man, sitting at the table reading the newspaper. he smiled a little at the sight. he wasn't on his phone, like everyone would be. jeongguk engulfed his father into a hug, who returned the same. only then did yoongi notice the similarities. another knock was heard at the door.
“that must be jeongin,” jeongguk's mother said, rushing to answer. jeongguk's dad smiled at his son before turning to yoongi. yoongi bowed with a smile, only to which the man engulfed yoongi into a hug. this must be where jeongguk's kindness and love came from.
“welcome to our home, yoongi, please make yourself comfortable,” the man said. yoongi thanked him, shaking his hand. he sat down at the table, watching jeongguk smile. his smile only grew larger when two other males walked in.
“jeongin!”
jeongguk flew onto one of the boys, hugging him tightly. the boy being hugged laughed, hugging him back. that must be his brother. yoongi looked towards the other boy, who stood there, hands in his pockets with an almost-blank expression on his face. yoongi already hated him.
“alright boys, settle down, let's all introduce ourselves.”
everyone sat down at the table, introducing who they were, their age and what their occupation was. yoongi's turn came.
“i'm yoongi, twenty-six, and i'm a medical major but i'd like to say that i'm jeongguk's professional love giver,” yoongi said, ruffling his boyfriend's head. jeongguk smiled, covering his face. everyone at the table laughed apart from that one boy. the boy was next.
“i'm minsu, twenty-five and i am attending law school,” minsu said. jeongguk looked at him in awe, asking a few questions.
“i'm jeongin, twenty-four, and i am also attending law school.” jeongguk looked at his brother with a smile, nodding. it wasn't long before introductions were done and everyone went to do their own things.
