myg.med: why do you guys have microphones
jjguk: @myg.med :)
--
jeongguk stood on stage, looking down. his fellow students stood around him, doing the same. he was one of the four who was handed a microphone. before jimin was selected, the professor had briefed him and three other students if they'd put on a real performance. a show. besides the dancing, they would also sing. the three other students were jimin, yugyeom, and surprisingly hoseok.
the music started, but jeongguk wasn't starting out this. not yet. slowly, everyone got into sync, and powerful moves captivated everyone.
the music stopped, along with the students. jeongguk walked to the middle, holding the microphone up to his face. he smiled, looking at the crowd. a different beat and sound began. he sang, adding in a little bit of rapping into it as well. he finished before the next part started.
after about seven or eight minutes, everyone finished. the crowd clapped, whistling was heard too. everyone bowed and headed backstage. jimin and jeongguk hugged each other, proud of each other. hoseok, though, was a bit salty. for one, he didn't get a long part, and two, he was still jealous that jimin got center and not him. hoseok approached the two.
“you two did well,” he lied. when the two boys looked at him, they were kind of surprised and shocked. jimin smiled towards him.
“you did well too, hobi-hyung. honestly, i think you deserved the center position more than i did,” jimin confessed. hoseok's breath hitched. what did he just say? suddenly, guilt flooded over him and he covered his face.

“shut up, jimin. i should've received it in the first place,” hoseok tried to say in a harsh tone, but it came out a little too soft. jimin laughed at hoseok and jeongguk smiled a little.
“i'm only saying. would you rather not the position?”
“of course i'd like to have the position!” hoseok uncovered his face and looked at jimin again. jeongguk began to laugh at the look on hoseok's face whilst jimin just smiled towards him.
“hyung, you know we'd really like to have you as a friend again,” jimin said. jeongguk looked at him before nodding. he did honestly miss hoseok's laughter and stupid jokes. hoseok looked at them.
in all honesty, hoseok felt mixed about them. he'd like to be friends again but as well just keep distance. jimin looked at him, awaiting an answer.
“um... i'll consider it,” hoseok said, waving a little before turning away, “bye.”
“bye hyung!”
after a few minutes, jeongguk and jimin changed into their regular outfits and left the backstage, heading to find their friends. it took awhile, considering how big the auditorium was. they walked up and down staircases, earning plenty of compliments from other students while searching. it wasn't long before jimin found his other friends, leaving jeongguk for them.
jeongguk sighed, exiting the auditorium to get some fresh air. as he exited the auditorium and to the room that lead before the auditorium, he found a pillar to lean onto. he was definitely out of breath, tired too. closing his eyes, he took his hand and moved it through his hair.
he pushed himself off the pillar and entered the auditorium again, looking around. he felt someone grab his hand while he walked down the ile, pulling him back. he looked down to the person, finding namjoon sitting there. he smiled at them, crouching down so he wouldn't obstruct any view.

“you did well. i didn't know you guys were going to sing,” namjoon whispered. seokjin was sitting right next to him, who shot him a thumbs up along with a string of praises. jeongguk smiled, looking down into the row of seats to find yoongi sitting there. yoongi leaned onto his arms, watching the stage with boredom. jeongguk squeezed past his friends and took the empty seat next to yoongi.
yoongi zoned back to reality when jeongguk sat down. he looked towards his boyfriend before smiling.
“hey baby.”
“hi hyung,” jeongguk said with a smile. yoongi returned the smile.
“you did great, how do you feel?”
“euphoric. real happy.” jeongguk grabbed yoongi's hand, squeezing it. yoongi laughed quietly.
“this was the only performance i've attended while going here, all because of you,” yoongi confessed. jeongguk looked at him before smiling even wider and engulfing his boyfriend into a hug. yoongi returned the hug before turning back to the show. jeongguk held his boyfriend's hand tightly.

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad

Legacy of Blood
Ao Ruang lives in a village isolated from the outside world. Due to a tragic fate he finds himself far away from his home on the brink of death. Only to be entrusted with the legacy of a near extinct race.A Legacy he must embrace.A Legacy that fills humanity with suspicion and hate.A Legacy written in blood. Hello Author here!I hope you all are enjoying my take on a cultivation story. I wanted to take elements I enjoy from cultivation novels while avoiding some of the tropes and insane power creep. I want to keep things as grounded as possible. The story is a bit quick paced in the start, but you will find that it slows down to a decent pace later on. The romance is going to be a slow burn and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise. While our protagonist Ao Ruang is the main man of the story their were will be times other characters will get some love also.Lastly, there will be occasional goals from latest chapter if those goals are reached I will release a bonus side chapter that focuses on other characters we have met before and I'm considering having polls to decide who the side chapter will be on.Please consider supporting me in anyway you can. For now I'm just looking for people to review, suggest to others, and interact.Respectfully,Joseon Walking
