yoongi finished making dinner before bringing a plate over to jeongguk. he sat down, watching the younger boy eat slowly and spare glances at him.
“why did you never tell me who you were?”
“couldn't bring myself to do it, plus, i like mystery.”
“yeah, but-”
“jeongguk, you're amazing. don't let anyone tell you you aren't. you're amazing in my eyes, okay? that's what matters,” yoongi cut him off. jeongguk stared at him before turning to his food and continuing to eat. the night went on, and the two went on to ask more questions before jeongguk eventually got tired and headed to the bedroom. yoongi followed, watching him prepare to sleep.
“i'm staying all night.”
“hyung!”
“i'm making sure you don't get even more sick and eat a good breakfast tomorrow. you're my number one priority,” yoongi said. jeongguk frowned, but it morphed into a small smile.
“hyung, can i tell you something?”
“sure.”
“i think i like you,” jeongguk whispered. yoongi heard it, loud and clear. his heart accelerated, but he did nothing about it. he smiled towards jeongguk.
“get some sleep, alright?”
after about half and hour, jeongguk was asleep while yoongi sat there, watching him. he snapped a quick picture.

the next morning, yoongi awoke on the couch. he stretched out his arms and legs, groaning out in pleasure from being able to release his tight muscles. he sat up after a few minutes, looking around before registering where he was. jeongguk's dorm. right. he slowly stood up and walked towards the bedroom, just to check up on jeongguk.
he wasn't that surprised to find jeongguk shirtless under the bed covers, but then again, he kind of was. boy probably had gotten hot last night. he walked over, slowly maneuvering his hand to check if the fever was down enough.

and it was, he seemed back to normal, at least. he sighed out of relief, backing up onto the wall to lean on. at least jeongguk was better. jeongguk slowly woke up, mumbling a few words before opening his eyes and directing them to yoongi.
“hyung?”
“what classes do you have today?”
“just dance at 10:30.”
“i'll accompany you there, then.”
jeongguk's eyes went wide for a few second, but went to a regular size. he realized there was no point in arguing. jeongguk sat up before pushing himself out of bed. yoongi watched his every movement. the younger boy looked at yoongi before taking a short step over.
yoongi, flustered at how close the boy was, looked at him intently. jeongguk's stare was doing things to his heart and he was not enjoying it.
“do you need something, jeongguk?”
“oh! no, nothing, just zoned out..”
jeongguk walked out of the bedroom, and yoongi followed a minute after. jeongguk was going through the fridge, looking at the leftovers from yesterday before deciding on one. he got a bowl and heated it up. yoongi leaned on the counter, looking around for a specific item.
alas, he found it, and maneuvered his way around jeongguk before grabbing creamer and a coffee cup. he needed his morning coffee. he waited and waited, after a few minutes, after preparing his coffee, it was ready. jeongguk waited until his food was done before taking it out of the microwave. the two stood in silence.
“did i say anything, hyung?”
“lots of questions, and a confession of you liking me,” yoongi hummed, taking his cup of coffee and sipping it. jeongguk froze.
“ah... can you forget about that last part?”
“why would i want to? reason one, you never forget when i tell you things, being too stubborn. reason two, i sorta like ya too, you brat.”
jeongguk stood there, not moving. he didn't even take out his food from the microwave. yoongi stared at him before sighing.
“get your food and eat, it's currently 9:30, so we'll leave at 10.”

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

My Isekai
For those not familiar with the isekai genera, this story is about a man waking up in an unknown world. The story follows his journey and life in this world, which does not only look different on the surface, but the common norms and values of this world are very alien to the modern western mindset. How will this average western person respond to such a world, and how will it change him. For those familiar with isekai, this is a western take on a predominantly Japanese story format. It draws a lot of inspiration from Japanese isekai, but it also tries to tackle a lot of tropes that might be annoying to the western mindset. The story is not written for young boys as the story tries to take a mature take on some typical clichés and assumptions made by both the typical writer and reader of the genera.
