"You're playing hard. I'm proud of you guys." Coach complimented.
"They keep cheat shooting us to death." Luis says.
"I know they are." Coach said.
"It's gonna take a miracle for us to hold on." Just as Averman said that the door opens.
"Dean Portman is awarded a full athletic and academic scholarship to the Eden Hall Academy." We all turned to see Dean standing there. We all smiled at the sight of him. "I had this lying around the house in Chicago. My attorney thought I should sign it. I agreed. It's official boys I'm back." All of us jumped up and shouted and cheered.
"Bombay." Charlie said to Coach and we all smiled.
We all went onto the ice and Dean started cheering making the crowd cheer.
"Oh look it's the other Bash Brother." I heard Cole say. "Ooh I'm really shaking now." I skated up beside Dean and we both rolled our eyes.
"So you're the big enforcer huh? It's nice to meet you. You know we got something in common---" Dean said surprisingly nice
"Shut up. Lets play hockey." Cole said
I looked at Dean and we both laughed.
"Whatever you say sunshine." Dean said to Cole.
The ref dropped the puck and Cole went to check Dean. Dean got out of the way. Cole stopped and charged at Dean again. Dean was laughing and Cole was growling. I was waiting to see what Dean would do. Dean moved a bit and bent down, making Cole fly over him and into the glass. Cole crashed threw the glass and landed in the crowd. My eyes popped open. Gasps and cheers were heard all around. We started again. The Bash Brothers were hitting the Varsity left right and center. This is more like it. Guy got the puck and gave it to Averman who faked and gave it to Luis. Luis shot the puck but Scooter caught it. Like usual Luis ran into the boards. Varsity got the puck. Dean was called for hooking and got two minutes. But he started cheering on the crowd and than out of nowhere started to strip. That made me and everyone laugh. The crowd cheered as Dean did. Luis cover my eyes. Luis was pulled out because to many men. Ken was sent to the box because he went out too early. Shit. Orion called a time out and we all went to him.

"Now listen to me. The pressure is all on them. All we gotta do is hold our ground. Okay Conway, Banks and Goldberg, I'm going with you."
"Me Coach?" Goldberg asked.
"You Goldberg. You earned your spot out there. Okay here we go." I looked over and noticed that Charlie got his C back. They dropped the puck. The crowd cheered. Reilly and Charlie were neck and neck. Charlie moved and Reilly fell. Charlie had the puck and passed back to Goldberg.
Goldberg scored. The siren went off. We scored a goal. Goldberg scored a goal! We won. The team ran out onto the ice and we all cheered.
Luis spun me around and kissed me. We stopped when we saw the banner change into the Ducks. I see Adam and Charlie kiss. I quickly skate up to them.
"Finally you guys got to together" I said. Charlie and Adam just chuckled and hug me.
I felt a tap in my shoulder. I turn and saw Coach Bombay.
"I was wondering if you and Ducks will like to have some dinner" Coach Bombay asked looking around since all the Ducks circle us. Everyone just nod and cheer.

Adventures of the Goldthirst Company
Get the quest, kill the monsters, grab the loot, don't die. How hard can adventuring be? When the party is a fashionista wizard who'd rather stare at her reflection than dirty herself with actual combat, a thief that picks locks by ripping them apart, a paladin trying to do the right thing, and an archer that's better at talking to plants than people, then even a simple quest can prove a challenge. Hired for a variety of tasks, from retreiving the legendary Dragon's Veil to bodyguarding the wealthy, thwarting apocalyptic prophecies, or uncovering not-so-abandoned elven ruins, the problems in their way may well prove their undoing; lonesome medusas, sticky-fingered psychopomps, agressively passive golems and fearsomely violent geography stand in their way, as well as the minor issue of simply not actually trusting, or even liking, each other! Releases twice weekly, generally Tuesday and Friday (Art by Sin Soppitt)

Unfortunately, he has no time to be confused as suddenly he is hunted by shadows, inducted into a secret hidden animal-themed organization, and tasked with saving the world from an ancient evil. Disclaimer: The image used as my cover, image is a free stock image from pixels.com that is not copyrighted. This is my first novel and a hobby. I do not know how consistent my releases will be, but I will do my best, that is all I can promise. I’ve made a story board with ideas for a good portion of the novel already, I do not plan on having voting decide the course of the novels’ story but I am willing to change my novels’ story as it develops and critiques and comments come in on the quality of it. Constructive criticism is welcomed, thank you for taking a look at my novel. Sincerely Mauger

The Dragon & The Demon
Orenda Nochdifache-Firefist has sucessfully overthrown the Empress Xandra and broken the empire to allow the individual colonies to return to self-rule, as well as abolished the chattle slavery that had plagued the land- earning her the title of "Orenda the Reign Ender". The Knights of Order have officially won the war in a bloody revolution, putting an end to the three centuries of warfare under Xandra's leadership. No longer must people live in fear of Xandra's puppet, The Emerald Knight. But now Orenda must face the realities of her dream- the imaginary princess has become queen. And, she has a deadly secret she must keep in the form of a teenage Urillian boy who is not what he seems. Anilla is still on a never ending quest to find her dragon; her people beleive that every memeber of their tribe is born with a soul bonded dragon that exists somewhere in the world- and Orenda's little secret claims to have seen Anilla's soul before. Could he be the key to ending her quest? This work is a direct sequel to The Crimson Mage, and will obviously contain major spoilers for that work, so it might be a better place to start (though I will warn you that the first chapter of that story may be the worst thing I've ever written. Just power through it or encorage me to put up a second draft). It can be found here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21654/the-crimson-mage/chapter/307763/chapter-1
