"The beach?" I looked over at him, a smile playing on his full lips,"Yeah, do you not like it?"
I frowned,"Yes." He had parked to where the trunk was facing the water, grasping my hand to pull me out. I glanced at the back, seeing the comforter and pillows placed in the back of the Jeep.
"Hayes, you a'ight?" I asked, playfully shoving him. Rolling his eyes, he pulled me close by his hand. I stared up at him, biting my lip.
I felt as he gently shoved me backwards, my back pressing into the car door, our bodies flush together, "I love you." I thinned my lips, "I know that."
He leaned closer, shaking his head, "I am in love with you, baby."
I clenched my teeth, my eyes watering. "Wait, you d-?" He nodded his head, his hair brushing against my forehead. He brought his hand up, wiping away the tear with his thumb.
"I-but you can't." I shook my head, breathing unevenly. His eyebrows pulled together, searching my face with his eyes.
I squeezed my eyes shut before pushing him away. I let out a huff, staring at the water. I caught Hayes' gaze, frowning. He sighed, "I love you, Malaya. I have for awhile, I was just too oblivious to see the way you looked at me that you love me too. I hurt you, baby, but I do love you."
"I-" he cut me off, pulling me into him before pressing his lips to mine. I felt the tears fall down my cheeks as I kissed back, "I love you too." I said against his lips.
"C'mon, I want to leave." Hayes said, glancing at me with a smirk. I nodded, getting in the passengers seat, "Sorry for ruining your plans here."

He chuckled, "I liked what happened now better." I blushed, biting my lip as he drove. Hayes pulled into the Taco Bell drive thru before ordering food.
"I'm so confused." I mumbled, glancing at Hayes.
He looked at me, "What do you mean?"
I shrugged, "You just say you love me after all this time, I just don't understand it."
"There's no explanation I can give you, Malaya." he sighed, pulling back into the driveway of home. I got out, "Don't call me by my name."
"Why?" he laughed whilst following me inside. I shrugged,"I just don't like it, its weird."
"Okay, baby." he mumbled near my ear as I stopped to look at him. Blushing deeply, I covered it up with a cough.
I only got out and followed him inside. I was confused when I saw a call from my mom. I held it to my ear, "Hello?"
"Hey, dear. Are y'all having fun?" she asked. I sighed, "Why are you acting weird?"
"It's time for y'all to come home. I know its soon, but things have came up for my job and I wont be Homs for awhile and I need someone to be at the house." she explained as my frown deepened.
I nodded, "Okay, are Hayes and Nash coming back, too?"
She was quiet for minute whilst I leaned against the wall. "Mom?" I called into the phone confused, hearing shuffling in the background, "Oh sorry, and no, I believe they're staying there for a little longer."
"Okay, when do se leave?" I asked and she proceeded on, "After tomorrow. Just start packing, alright?"
I only hung up and stomped upstairs. Maya came in behind me with frown, "We have to leave without the guys. Yay."

I raked a hand through my hair and nodded, "I want them to come with us. Its borung without em." After changing into something more comfortable, I layed down on the bed.
Maya opened the door to leave, "I'll help you lack tomorrow, babe." I smiled and switched on my phone to see a text from Hayes.
do you want me to sleep on the couch tonight? -hayes
no why would i? -mal
idk so you want me up there wit you baby?😏 -hayes
yessss😋 -mal
a'ight honey i'ma be up there in a minute to see you -hayes

I smiled and waited as I messed with my phone. After a few minutes of watching Netflix, he came in looking tired. I grinned at him as he shuffled out of his pants to pull on basketball shorts.
I scooted over to give him room so he could lay next to me. "Hey, babe." he pulled me next to him. I sighed, "I have to leave after tomorrow to go back home and y'all are staying here. I'ma miss you."
He laughed and ran a hand through his hair, "Its okay, I don't be here forever." I nodded and closed my eyes.
"Goodnight, I love you, baby girl." he mumbled in my ear and I kissed his lips, "I love you, too."

i have became a way better writer over the time i havent been continuing this and this story has became unproffessional and not put together,, I've just lost interest in it so if the chapters are boring, this is the reason and i apologize to the ones who have enjoyed this story. the ending is coming real quick and I don't think a sequel will be coming soon or even if there is gonna be one like originally,, again i apologize for the inconvenience.
