clock read 6:03 in the morning. Ella wanted to take me out to get my mid off things, and she requested for me to be ready at seven. I, myself, still had no idea why we needed to leave so early.

Licking my chapped lips, I walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body while my hair hung loose, dry. My clothes had finally been placed in the dresser since one day I had no other thing to do. Thinning by lips, I picked through my clothes for something to wear. Sighing, I layed it out on the bed.

Pulling the clothes on, I sucked in air when the door opened, clearly shocked that the person did not knock. I had only just put my Calvin Klein undergramets along with my shirt.

I shrugged, biting my lip. It's not the first time he's seen me only in a shirt. Grabbing my tennis skirt, I pulled it over my legs before tucking my shirt into it. Turning away from Hayes, I entered the bathroom after catching his blue eyes darken.

He had avoided me all week after the moment in the bathroom we had which pissed me off. Ignoring the fact, I sighed.

I leaned over the counter before applying mascara, glancing at the doorway to see him pass it. Breathing in exasperated, I applied the nude lipstick onto my lips. I dropped the cap of it before I placed it on, bending down to grab it.

Something had breathed in sharply behind me and I whipped around to see Hayes, licking his lips, "Are you wearing that out?"

Nodding, I advoided talking to him which he didn't take to lightly. "You shouldn't."

"You shouldn't be an ass." I mumbled under my breath, plugging in the hair straightner. He had heard though, grabbing me by my hips from behind pushing our bodies flush against one another before leaning next to my ear closely.

His lips brushed against my ear, "We're in a bathroom. Again." I blushed, shaking my head.

"Why have you advoided me?" I asked in a whisper, not wanting to sound if I had cared. Which I did.

His hands had traveled up to my waist, squeezing,"I'm sorry, baby girl. Tez and me have been making plans for next year's tour."

It was weird, Hayes touching me like this. Sure, he's flirted with me playfully by touching me, but it was different now. I liked it, but again, it scared me.

"Oh," I cleared my throat, his arms spinning me around to face me, looking off to the side,"And I was avoiding you because you seemed mad that one day."

I shrugged, and he had picked up my hand that had a slowly fading scar on it where I had got cut by glass. He caressed his thumb over the inner part of my wrist, sending shocks and tingles throughout my body.

Thinning my lips, I turned around,"I have to get ready." He rolled his eyes at me playfully before leaving the bathroom with a quiet 'tease' whispered after me. Sighing, I started on my hair by straightening it to make it easier to two side French braid it.

A sigh was heard before the door was shut, and I furrowed my eyebrows before shrugging it off.

"Hey, babes." I pulled the Range Rover's door open, climbing in.

She studied my face, observing me."You look happier."

Blushing, I avoided eye contact as I buckled in myself. "Hayes talked to me."

"Oh, what happened?" she waggled her brows before looking behind her to back up. Biting the inside of my cheek, I shrugged. "He was being handsy."

She giggled,"Nice." I looked at her, wide-eyed.

"Nice?" I gasped. "I've only ever been his best friend. It's confusing."

"But you like him, don't you? Haven't you wanted this?" she glanced at me, asking.

I gulped, nodding,"Yeah. Its just I don't think he likes me like that, y'know?"

"I can't answer that, but honestly, if he's just playing you, I doubt he would do it at a time when he has to live under the same roof."

Sighing, I looked at her,"So he's acting like this until we get back to North Carolina?"

She huffed,"You took that wrong," she grinned widely after,"and let's not think about this. Let's eat Waffle House."
