", and she was like..." I gripped my hair, tugging at it as MaKenzie made conversation with me. She looked high and her hands always found a way to touch me.
After eyeing everyone in the crowd, I spotted Mal dancing with her friends. "I have to be somewhere." I backed away before she could say something, sighing.
I shuffled thought the the crowd, finding them."Oh, hey Hayes." Ella giggled, waving at me. She was drunk.
Smiling, I looked around confused. "Where's Mal?" They giggled causing me to cock an eyebrow in questioning. Before I could ask again, I heard yells.
Turning around, I saw Taylor holding up Mal over the beer keg as she chugged. My eyes went wide, and I ran over next to Taylor. "She can't get drunk!"
Taylor shook his head,"Dude, she already was when she came over here." I sighed in exasperation, pulling his hands off her as I took her in my arms to set her down.
She stomped her foot, crossing her arms childishly, "I wasn't done!"
"Yeah, I know, let's get you to bed." I tugged at her to come with me.
"Hayes," she said into my ear, so I could hear her,"I'm not that drunk."
I eyed her,"Yeah, you are." She rolled her eyes at me, avoiding eye contact and I sighed.
"We can dance if you don't wanna go lay down." I shrugged, saying into her ear, feeling her tense at our closeness. She didn't smile,"I guess."

I pulled her with me to the dining room where everyone was dancing since we cleared everything out. She wrapped her arms around herself, biting her bottom lip. I hate when she done that. "Are you cold, baby girl?"
"No." she shook her head, but I pulled her into me by the small of her back before hugging her. She was getting tired after being drunk for so long.
She swayed with me neither of us matching the beat of the song, "You should always be like this." she looked up me, giggling.
"What do you mean?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowing before during the crowd of boys who were raking their eyes up her body as if I wasn't here.
She shrugged, pulling herself closer to me. I took one of my arms off her waist, pulling out my phone and switching it on to see the time. 11:51.
It wasn't that late for a party, but I didn't want her up any longer. "C'mon, baby girl." I mumbled into her ear.
She sighed, and looked up at me,"Can you give me a back ride?" I shook my head, grinning. I turned around and she jumped up on it before I walked up the stairs.
After getting to the room, I unlocked it with a key, pushing it open and laying her down on the bed before locking the door again.
"Do you want to change?" I asked her and she shook her head before I tugged her shoes off, laying them on the ground.
I took off my own, pulling my shirt off to leave me in Nike joggers and laying next to her. Mal slung an arm tiredly across my stomach, eyes closed. "Goodnight, baby girl." I mumbled before closing my own.

I
blinked rapidly, beginning to sit up. My head reacted by aching more, and I groaned. I was drunk last night, I thought, biting my lip. I moved my head slowly around, not able to look around with out an ache in my eyes and head.
I slowly got up, trudging into the bathroom before seeing two aspirins and a glass of water sat out on the counter. I took them, tugging off my dress and pulling the hair tie out trying not to rip out hair.
I sighed, turning on the shower and getting in. I stood there, letting the scorching hot water relax my tired and worn out body. Mom would have to know, I couldn't keep something like this away from her.
Pressing my lips into a thin line, I washed everywhere and got out, bringing the towel to dry off my body and walk out to grab some clothes.
I took a deep breath, bringing the toothbrush up to brush my teeth. Spitting it out, I ran a comb through my hair before blow drying it and beginning on a loose French braid, so my headache wouldn't return from the hang over.
I sat down, thinking of Hayes while pulling black ankle Adidas socks on my feet. I remember him taking care of me the rest of the night after I became foolish. Biting my lip, I grasped my phone.
I had eleven unread texts and a couple misses calls. I scrolled through the girls and I's group chat, avoiding the eye roll I almost done.
