", it's been an interesting few days." I told more myself then my mom, wishing I meant this in a good way.

"Oh, well that's great. How's Hayes?" she asked, inquiring the little thing that's happened.

I, semi-reluctant, answered, "Him, in general, looks fine, but a decent conversation hasn't went between me and him for me to get you that answer."

"Dear, I think I have the solution to this, as you say, problem." she mumbled, me not the least bit interested since trying to fix it hasn't gone anywhere but to hell.

"Oh, as I must hear this to fill my heart with happiness." I remarked sarcastically.

"Don't be smart." she scolded, proceeding, "And the only thing you could do to solve it, is have a conversation to work it out."

"Now you've gone mad!" I protested.

"I love you, tell Maya I love her too. Bye." she hung up, causing me to sigh in exasperation. I glanced at the time: 7:39 a.m.

I got up, heading into the kitchen where everyone finds peace. I checked the fridge, rolling eyes at the fact there was nothing in it except a few slices of pizza that were in there before I arrived. Lifting the pizza box, I shuddered at the sight of mold.

I wrapped a blanket around me, laying on she couch to take a nap. Maybe when I wake up, there will something other then mold in the fridge. Five minutes into closing my eyes, the couch sunk in below my feet.

"Where did you sleep last night?" I asked, not opening my eyes.

"Jacks and Taylor's room." Hayes replied. He is so.....I don't know.

"Why don't you just sleep in the room with me?"

He stayed silent after that, scooting closer to the arm of the couch. I lazily spread out, laying my legs on top of his lap. He bit his lip, making me blush for an unknown reason. "Are you still mad at me?" He asked after a few minutes of silence.

"I can't get over what you said..." I trained off, intwining and untwining my fingers repeatedly. I anxiously moved my feet around his lap, nervous.

He caught my legs in his grasp, my eyes flicking between my legs and how close my feet were to there. I blushed more furiously, mumbling a 'sorry.' All I heard was the faint sound of the tv playing before he broke the silence.

"I don't want to be around you though." he said causing me to flinch, a gulp heard from me.

"Okay then." I then whispered, getting up to make my way into the kitchen.

He followed after me. "Malaya, I didn't mean it like that. It's-You wouldn't understand." I only shook my head, "I wanted to fix this." He ran a hand through his hair, licking his lips. Turning, I walked upstairs trying to keep myself together. This is what I get? Taking my mom's advice was defiantly not happening again.

I pulled on some different clothes, frowning the whole time. I don't want to be around you though. His words repeated in my head, causing my stomach to churn and my heart to ache. "Mal." I stared down at the ground before opening the door.

"Are you okay?" Taylor asked, frowning slightly at my expression of grief.

"I don't think so." I mumbled, a tear slipping down my cheek. He wrapped his strong arms around me, my head laying comfortingly on his chest.

"Want me to do something?" He asked causing me to smile a little

"Be back?" I shrugged, turning to leave.
