jason POV:

the drive home feels like a eternity in silence, the quiet bumps of the road out weigh the dim radio buzz. "so how was the hit?" my dad mumbles past his glowing cigar. i shrug "it was alright everything went as plan. he nods. we drive in the silence. as evening turns to night and the world goes to sleep, im on my way to another hit. this one however is different. where cooperating with a government official. to pull a hit on his wife.

three weeks ago, the police chef came up to me and paid me 100,000 to take out the mayor (his wife), witch is also jays mom. but he docent have to know, and anyway, its not like they talk to him anyway. i care for him more then they ever will. but this is also my last hit. after this im done. i already told my dad im done. and surprisingly, he agreed.

we pull up to the restaurant as my target walks out. she walks to her car and just as shes about to get in.

Jays POV

i hum along to the surprisingly catchy song on the radio. Jason is coming over tonight, he says he has a huge surprise. well i mean we have been together for 4 years today so i guess surprise is the word. the door bell rings and i walk over checking my hair first. i open the door with a swift smile. but that fades. two police officers are on the other side. i recognize them but not very well. "jay..... your mom and dad where in a accident. your dad is fine but your mom."i start to cry as he gives me a hug. "im so sorry".
