《Dance Machines [JhopeXLisa]》Chapter 1

I'm Lisa, a normal high school girl in her senior years. School by day, boring but I get high grades, so my parents are satisfied. Dance Battles by night, the exciting part of my whole 24 hours, my parents know about this and they're just okay with it cuz they know my passion for dancing, as long as I'm home by 11:00 pm.
AT SCHOOL
Anyways, today is a normal school day, it's already my third subject this morning, Math. Although I ace it, it doesn't mean I like it.
"Ms. Manoban, please answer this equation" Mrs. Choi our teacher asked.
"Yes ma'am!" I said, standing up, and walked to the board.
It was a simple Pythagorean equation, I don't even know why we still have these lessons, it's for freshmen. I solved the equation quickly at ease, then went back to my seat.
"Very good Ms. Manoban" Mrs. Choi encouragingly said.
The only reason I like solving problems in front of people especially Mrs. Choi, is because of the acknowledgement I get afterwards.

After third period was lunch, good thing too, cuz I'm starving.
I went to the cafeteria and got my food from the lunch lady, and went to sit with my friends, in our usual table, in where I saw Jisoo unnie and Rosé unnie.
"Hey Liz! How was Math?" Rosé asked.
"She's probably beating the nerds on acing it" Jisoo said while taking a bite of her chickin, while I put my food in the table and sat down.
"Guess I don't need to answer then" I said smiling, "But for reals, I was bored throughout" I continued.
"Should've known, even math geeks get bored too" Rosé said.
"Hey guys!" Jennie sat down next to Jisoo unnie.
"What took you so long?" Jisoo asked Jennie.

"Mr. Song asked me to feed his class pet, hamster" Jennie answered, we nodded in understanding.
"Anyways, Lisa, a friend told me about this club she goes into that holds dance battles every night, you should try there" Jennie stated.
"Sure, I'd be happy to, and it will be a perfect first dance battle for Rosé" I said.
"What?!" Rosé exclaimed almost choking on her food.
"Why? It would be a perfect chance for you" I said.
"Alright, but you have to promise to not leave me, okay" Rosé asked.
"Sure, besides I wouldn't wanna miss seeing you win" I said winking at her.

AT LISA'S HOUSE
*Squeal*
Tonight is gonna be Rosé first dance battle, I'm excited!
Since I'm just going there to coach her, I decided to just wear, black shorts, black hoodie, and my timberlands. I also wore a black mask to not be known, I just let my hair down.
After eating a little snack from the fridge, I got inside my car, and drove off to Rosé house.
When I arrived she was already waiting outside her house, probably because I texted her a moment ago. (Rosé was wearing the outfit she used in AIIYL dance practice)
She got inside the passenger seat, "Are you ready?" I asked.
"As I'll ever be" she replied smiling.
"Great confidence, now let's go" I said driving off to the directions Jennie gave me.
AT THE CLUB
"Daebak! This place is so big" Rosé said.
"And crowded" I added, "come on I think it's starting" I grabbed her arm and dragged her towards the side of the dance floor.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight is another night of heavy dancing. Who would be named as the dance machine of this night? We'll soon fond out" the DJ said.

A guy with orange hair came to the center of the dance floor.
"Here, we have a representative of his group, who are the reigning champions, BTS! Who would want to face him and claim victory?" the DJ said.
"Go, you can do it, just remember what I taught you" I whispered to Rosé.
She nodded at me then raised her hand and stepped in front. Many gasps can be heard.
"Ooohh, we got a new one!" the DJ said, "Let's begin!" the DJ said the he started playing a hip hop instrumental.
The guy started the battle, to be honest, he wasn't that bad, but for me Rosé can beat him easily.
The guy stopped dancing and gave the floor to Rosé, she started dancing and immediately burned the guy's moves, but it still wasn't over, the guy still had a chance.
The guy immediately pulled off a back flip and started break dancing with a hint of crumping.
I got to admit the guy is good, but Rosé is in it for the win.
Rosé started to break dance as well, but I can see that her's is much better, she again roasted the man.
In the end Rosé won, of course, I felt pity for the guy, who just walked towards his mates, head down.
"Oohh, it looks like the rookie has tricks up her sleeve. Who would want to face her?" The DJ asked.
Another guy, approached, I think he's from the same group, but this one is shorter, and rocked the pink hair.
"Ooohh, I see BTS wants to beat the rookie" the DJ announced.
Another battle broke out, I got to admit this one is better than the last one.
To Rosé dismay, she lost, but instead being disappointed, I was proud of her.
She came up to me with a sad face, "Don't worry unnie, you did your best, you even impressed me" I tried to cheer her up.
"You're right Pokpak, this isn't about winning, it's about having fun" she said a little bit happy this time.
"That's right!" I told her with a smile.
"Okay! It seems that BTS regained their title. Who wants to face them?" The DJ said.
This time, no one came up to the dance floor.
"No one? If not, the challenger will get to choose" the DJ said referring to the pink haired guy.
"Well, who would you want to challenge, young man?" the DJ asked.
To my surprise the boy pointed at my direction, and the spotlight was on me?
"You!" the guy said.
I mouthed a 'me' while pointing a finger at myself and to my horror, he nodded.
"It looks like he picked the rookie's friend. What do say dear? Want to avenge your friend? The DJ asked.
Oh no! I didn't come here to challenge! Well, might as well avenge Rosé unnie and make him regret he picked me.
I nodded in my spot, and walked up in front of the pink haired guy.
"Hm, brave girl for not rejecting" he said.
I smirked, "You'll regret picking me, later" I said.
"I like the confidence" he said, "I'm Park Jimin"
