《I should care because?》Atop a certain bookshelf

Keme's POV
I stared at the girl in front of me, who's eyes were filled with hope. My facade slipped for a moment, and in that small moment a look of disgust could be seen, I quickly put my facade back of a warm, nice, caring person.
I slowly leaned forwards, and her face turned redder and redder, and stopped when I was an inch from her face, by that time she was as red as a tomato, a color which did not suite her at all.
"You think that I'd like a girl as ugly as you?" I whispered with a smirk, right before leaning back and watching the girl run away in tears.
As you can see, I am indeed a jerk. What can I say? This world, why did she choose this world? Rather, did she have a choice?
I yawned, that was boring. Everything was boring, everyone was the same, there was no difference between today and yesterday. The same faces, the same comments, the same books, the same halls, why, everything was the same. I wanted a show, something interesting, I was bored. There was nothing interesting here.
I supose I am cruel, but isn't she the same? Taking me at face value, can't I take you as face value as well? If this goes on, isn't it disterous for her? Yes, I am just letting her learn and grow. And yes, I am creating excuses for myself.
I arrived at the library, yes I wanted something entertaining, but a classroom is the most unlikely place that would happen if you consider the teachers that would immediately stop anything that could be considered entertaining. Even in my slumber, there is only a blank screen.
When I entered the library, I felt a presence, so faint that were it not for who I used to be, I would never even realize it was there. This was a presence of an assassin, a very good one at that.

What else could this be it not interesting?
I raced along the bookshelves, trying to find the source of this presence, when I came to a spot, in front of me should be where the person was, but in front of me was a bookshelf. I looked up, and spotted the most peculiar thing.
Atop the bookshelf was a raven haired girl reading a book. That may not sound peculiar to you, except, the bookshelf was 30ft tall, 5 times my height. From that, I deducted that she was a wind mage, it helped that her hair kept waving in a non existent wind.
Well well, what do we have here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have visited the girl, which I found out was called Silence. What was surprising was that she was a daughter of a duke, it's amazing that she isn't flaunting her power over everyone around. She also has a sister named Angel, who I found had nearly no angelic properties at all. They were as different as day and night, one cried at every little thing, the other was unresponsive as a rock. One had all her parents love, while the other had all her parents hate, it wouldn't be surprising if she turned cold or jealous at Angel, but no, her eyes were blank, with no emotion at all except disregard.
As expected, she came here with her memories. How fun it would be if she didn't, wouldn't she be rather cute?
Though, like this, she is still cute. It would be fun to see if she could show me a different expression.
"How are you?" I asked her again. Again, I got no response.
"You know, your sister is rather odd, do you realize that?" I asked, and I was met with slight movement. Like a nod of the head or something.
Silence then looked at me, straight at me. Ah, this isn't good, I shouldn't have said anything. Afterall, it would be odd to notice that something was off with Angel.
----------------------------------------------------------------
"Guess who?" Kede asked, covering Silence's eyes with his hands, that next thing he knew he was flung across the library. He chuckled before adjusting his body so that he could land safely on the ground, before teleporting behind Silence yet again.

As the son of the clan head and the next heir, that just wasn’t enough of an excuse to spare me from my father’s grueling training. For in his creed the only strength that mattered was that grasped in one’s own two hands. In my journey through the lands with my harem, I was grateful for his training as it saved my life multiple times when my girls weren’t there to engage in combat. This is my story."
