Jisung and Chenle were left alone in the practice room, with Jisung poking the still embarrassed male on the floor.
"Lele. Hey, Lele. Are you alive? He--"
"Is it bad that whenever I see you my heart starts to beat really fast and I can't seem to stop it?"
Consider Jisung shocked by the sudden confession.
"W-What?"
The younger watched as Chenle slowly uncurled himself and sat up, legs crisscrossed in front of him. He was still a bit flushed, but it was cute so Jisung didn't complain.
"Jisung...Is it bad that I really love holding your hands and I think about cuddling with you when I try to sleep at night?" Chenle asked, looking up at Jisung.
The younger male was too in shock to comprehend the whole thing. Just as he was about to say something, Chenle continued, "I don't know if you actually kissed her or not, but I was really jealous you know? I didn't know why, I just was. Call me selfish but I wanted to be the only one that is allowed to kiss you. It's weird, I know. I just got over a break up then here I am, craving affection more than ever? Actually...I've been craving it since we were only in grade school. I just so happen to fall into a stupid fear of others judging me. I--"
Chenle was cut off by Jisung pouncing on him, developing him into a tight embrace.
"Don't worry about it Lele. It's okay, I understand. To have you here right now is already enough for me." Jisung whispered, loud enough for the elder to hear.
"I-I know you already like me and all, and I wanted to say I liked you back all this time. I just...covered it up for a while. Then after everything you've done for me, and you stuck by me all this time even though you were hurt...I'm so sorry." Upon the realization of what he put Jisung through, tears started to prick at his eyes.

A rattled inhale was heard from the elder male. His tears slowly blurring his vision.
"Don't cry Lele. I'd honestly rather me get hurt than you. Sure it hurt me, but as long as you were happy, I would be okay." By now, the two were laying on the floor, with Chenle lying on top of Jisung.
Chenle's face was buried in the younger's chest, as Jisung carded through Chenle's fading green locks in attempt to halt the elder's crying. They stayed like that for quite a while; with Chenle's tears tainting Jisung's t-shirt and Jisung whispering sweet nothings to Chenle.
Finally, the crying had ceased.
"Lele?"
"Hm?"
"I'll love you no matter what okay? Never doubt that fact."

The seven boys decided to go over to Hongdae, as it is known for the many busking performances there. As they walked around, they could spot multiple performances going on at the same time.
They all wandered around until they found some empty space at a park, just enough for them to execute their routine. A street light was near the back center of the clearing with fairy lights strung onto it, as it connected to the trees around it.
The environment was aesthetically pleasing to say the least, and the boys were buzzing with excitement. Some of them had announced their performance on the social media accounts, and were already seeing some people arrive to see the performance.
"You have the speaker?" Mark asked Jeno, as he raised up his bluetooth with a thumbs up.
"Okay, everyone ready?" The others nodded and started to gather in a small circle.
"YOOOOO DREAM!"
"쩔어주자 퐈이팅!!"
Everyone got into place, with Jeno quickly placing the speaker down and going to his own position. The all too familiar beats made their way to mix with the sounds of night. The boys had started dancing, with bright smiles on their faces as the performed.

More people started to crowd around the seven boys, seeing their performance as eye catching. They were having fun and the crowd was enjoying the show. Everything was great.
Chenle was happy that he got to do this with the boys. Their lives were getting busier and their time together as seven was deteriorating. So they young male was glad that they were able to do this.
The performance ended, and the crowd gave them a standing ovation. Hoots and hollers were heard and the group of boys couldn't be any happier with the reaction.
With slight ragged breaths, they lined up and took a bow. Thanking and waving to the crowd surrounding them.
"Encore! Encore! Encore!" The crowd chanted, making the boys look at each other with knowing looks.
The 00' and 99' liners shared another look; a more mischievous one. While Chensung was in the practice room alone, the other five concocted a master plan.
Jeno turned on '1, 2, 3', a song that was written not too long ago for Mark's project. Jisung had used it to produce a routine for his own dance project. Afterwards, the seven had a free day where they would all meet up and the youngest suggested he teach them the choreo.
And so, there they were, dancing once again.
"Hey shawty!" Everyone shouted when the line came about.
Nearing the end, there was a part where Chenle and Jisung were center, which the other kneeled in front of them in a semicircle formation.
Those seconds flew by fast, but in the two youngest's eyes, everything was in slow-mo. The elder males had stuffed flower petals in their pockets before hand, and had threw them at the two males when they were center.
Blue and yellow petals rained down on the two, as they expressed their mild shock by looking at each other. That was when time had stopped.
Utter beauty was what they saw in each other in that span of a couple seconds. The petals had landed on their heads, making it seem like they had small flowers woven through their colored locks.
Chenle couldn't help but to choke on his own breath. Like shit, when was Jisung so freaking tremendously beautiful? His pouty lips seemed so kissable, it was driving the elder insane. Was this what he had been missing out when he had buried himself in those lies?
If this was the truth, than he's glad that he grew some damn balls and fully accepted his feelings for the younger.
The truth can be downright beautiful, yet other times it can be cold and ugly. Chenle was lucky that his truth turned out to be the apple of his eyes.

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
