How did Andre know I'd be here and now he's seeing me having dinner with Mike he might act violently because Andre has a bad temper that follows his jealousy.

"Wow you moved on fast after a 5 year relationship skai ?" Andre was giving me a look of anger and sadness.

"Andre you shouldn't be here and this is not what you think , this is not a date .......in fact what do I care, it's none of your damn business just go away !"I lashed out on Andre who overlooked me and looked at Mike who was standing up to face him.

"I think you heard the lady, your presence is upsetting her so please excuse us"Mike said with a really stern voice.

"Who the hell are you?! Back off! "Andre shoved Mike with so much force causing him to trip but I stopped him from falling.

"Andre!! Get out of here you're causing trouble just go meet up with your gang and do what you know how to do best"I angrily blurted out.

The manager of the restaurant came over and warned Andre to leave if not he'd call the cops. Andre gave him a death glare and came towards us.

"I know you and I'd hunt you down ,stay away from her besides I've been following you around and I know you two daily routine"he said calmly to Mike then walked out.

Well that explains the feeling I have that I'm being watched when I'm on my way to work or anytime I'm out of my home.

"Are you okay ? "I asked Mike who was still in my arms on the floor.

"I'm fine, I think we should head home now" he said while we got up then the waiter came with our food.

"Are you freaking kidding me, you see the situation we are in and you are bringing in food !" I lashed angrily at the waiter then Mike calmed me down and told the waiter to return to the kitchen.

We were in the car driving home. We haven't said a word since we got in, I took off my shoes because my feet were aching while Mike kept his eyes on the road.

"Mike I think you should be careful from now on ,Andre is really dangerous" I suggested due to the worries that I had.

"I ain't scared of a small boy, he's too small to be amongst my worries"He smirked at me then returning his focus back on the road.

"I'm serious Mike, he's part of a mafia group and he's been following us and he'd strike again sooner or later " I said looking at Mike's face with a scared and worried look.

The car came to an halt and we arrived at Mike's house he turned off the ignition to his car and looked at me.

"Skai if there's anyone that should be worried it's me, remember I offered to be around whenever you need me and now is the time so please don't worry about anything."he said those words like it was a final decision but no it isn't and I won't let him end this simply.

"You don't know how dangerous Andre is but since you don't care about your safety, you could do me a favour by releasing my brother to come stay with me , you know what ....... I'm dulling myself !" I went out his car with my shoes in my hand and I rushed into the house and saw Sekani watching TV in the living room.

"Sekani get your things you'd be staying with me. " I ordered Sekani like a kid.

"Whoa whoa what's going on skai ?"he asked looking over at Mike who just came in with a tired look on his face.

"Andre attacked us at the restaurant and he threatened us all but Mike doesn't take him seriously but I love you and I want to you out of here, Mike can die if he wants to!" I said to Sekani harshly while I eyed Mike.

"Are you okay sis ?!" Sekani stood up running his hand through my face to see if I was hurt.

"I'm fine Sekani!"I said angrily.

"Hold on sis, even if I go to your home, Andre still knows your place and your whereabouts"He said which made me angrier because I didn't even think of that but I just want my brother close to me.

"I don't care at all !! I want you to come home and stay with me where I can see you and be within my reach." I said while I angrily groaned and sat down on the couch.

"Sekani I think you should do what skai suggests , c'mon bro let's go pack "Mike suggested while Sekani looked at me with understanding and they both left to pack Sekani"s things.

Mike is really understanding and he knows how paranoid I was and I just wanted my wish to be done and he made Sekani pack just to make me calm. Well he'd be a good mate but I'm not really interested.

"Sekani I'd be on my way to work now , take care of yourself if you are hungry there's food in the fridge."I said to Sekani who lazily stretched on the couch.

"Sis, I'm tired "he said sitting up looking up at me like I'm suppose to know what's wrong with him.

"What's the problem Sekani"I asked with concern and I took my place next to him on the couch.

"I'm always idle and all I do is stay at home and watch TV...... Skai can I get a job"he looked at me with hope in his eyes but I was about to agree to it until he told me the other reason why he's getting a job.

"And I can also raise money for my college fees." Then I wasn't for sure letting him work , I already have 70% of the money but I need more money to make it complete.

"No Sekani you wouldn't work to pay your fees, I'd be the one to pay your fees and that's final ! Send me the name of the college that accepted you and when I get back we'd talk." I ordered standing up from the couch.

"Really but how are you going to pay for it ?,"he asked me looking happy but confused.

"That's my stress so don't worry little man"I smirked knowing how much he hates that nickname.

"Okay sis but don't call me little man."he said while walking away to his room.

Work today was hectic and busy for me , I had to accompany my boss to various branches today and I filed a lot of paper work which made my eyes dizzy. We were all closed for the day and I knew it was time for me to meet my boss and ask for the loan I've been contemplating on.

"Hello Mr. Archer can I come in ?" I asked the bald and dark skinned guy who was part of the men that interviewed me while popping my head into his office.

"Sure"he said while arranging his files prepared to go to work and he sat down on his chair.

"I really need to see you Mr Archer, I need your help"I said to him as I sat down on the chair in front of his table. My words made Archer lean forward with his hands now on the desk.

"Okay I'm all ears"he said with all seriousness.

"I need a some amount of money"I said firmly looking into his eyes while exhaling deeply.

"Like a loan ?" He asked with an arched eyebrow.

"Yes , I need it urgently to pay some bills."I was now tensed seeing some inconvenience in his face.

"What are the bills for ?" He asked still with the same look.

"I need money to add up to what I've saved to pay for my brother's tuition fee and set him up."I said all in one breath now feeling confident.

"Wow that's personal skai"he said with care and concern on his face.

"Yeah I know that's why I was discreet about it at first." I said with relief.

"How much do you need ?" He asked and leaned closely. I told him the amount I needed and he smiled.

"Well skai I can afford that and that's too small for the company to give you as a loan."he smirked reaching for his cheque book. Well he was one of the main bosses here and with the kind of car and clothes he wore I knew his pay was times three of mine if not more.

"So what are you saying Mr Archer ?"I asked wondering what he was writing down in the cheque book.

"Since I can afford it and you're my favourite employee consider this as a gift from me " he said handling me the cheque with the exact amount of money I needed.

"Wha.... Mr....I ..I...I" I stutter in shock while finding it hard to comprehend what he just did.

"It's okay Skai , just thank me later ."he said about to stand up when I said something.

"Well I'd pay you back when I get my pay and please don't object because I'd be forever indebted to you"I said those words in an authoritative tone which were supposed to be a plea.

"Okay then , suit yourself"He said while gesturing me towards the door and we went out of his office walking towards the elevator.

"Thanks again Mr Archer"I said as the elevator opened.

"When are you going to drop the formality uhn ?" He said while laughing.

"Well you're my boss"I said not feeling comfortable with his laughter.

"Skai , Archer would just be fine !"he said stepping into the elevator.

I was home now and I was seated on my bed making payments for Sekani's tuition fee . He sent me the name and details of the college he was accepted into and my estimate for the fees was correct and I made payments and I also opened and deposited money into a new account I opened for him.

Someone knocked on my door . No doubt that was Sekani.

"Come in bro"I said as I put my laptop aside.

"You said we should meet and discuss my college fees when you get back from work"he said as he sat on the edge of my bed. Sekani has been distant lately , he's been calm and very careful around me.

"Yeah uhm but before we get to that I me to know why you've been so distant around me" I asked gesturing him to come over and seat close to me.

"Oh yeah , you are busy these days and always flaring up and ordering me plus the college thing , I just felt tired of it all" He said while settling beside me.

"What?! Sekani did you really feel this way , oh wow I'm so sorry I've been acting like that, I've been really worked up and highly protective because of Andre and dad"I said pulling him close for a cuddle.

"Okay sis, does that mean I can barge into your room as usual ?" He said resting his head on my chest while looking up at me .

"Of course you can sweety"I said as I chuckled to myself.

"So what do you suggest about my college fees how are we going to pay ?"he asked sitting up and looking at me with a serious face.

Feeling so happy and proud of myself that I paid for my brother's bills even though my dad thought I couldn't do it.

"Take a look at my laptop"I said getting down from my bed and walking away from the bed to have a wide view of my brother seeing I've paid for his fees and to also take a pic of the moment.

He was shocked and he looked at me with tears rolling down his cheeks and rushed to hug me making it impossible to get a pic of him.

"Thanks so much Skai I love you so much and I wouldn't let you down !!!" those words were soothing to my ears and I was glad to hear them .

I'm finally taking full responsibility of my brother .
