《STRAWBERRY WINE -corpse husband-》BACK TO STREAMING (16)

After a week, Madison still hadn't gone home. She would consistently go to her apartment for clothes and her essentials, and did have to pack up a small streaming set-up so she could still work while she was at Corpse's apartment.
He didn't seem to mind, if anything, he loved her there. Madison cooked every night, she made sure the apartment stayed clean, and she did the grocery shopping when he was too anxious to leave the house. Sometimes he felt like he was taking advantage of her, but she always reminded him that she does it because she appreciates him.
They hadn't discussed the "feelings" part of their relationship, simply co-existing for now. They kissed and cuddled, and acted like a couple but neither of them made any leaps to actually label anything they were. Madison so badly wanted to be able to commit herself to him, but she knew it would be hard. She always liked gratification and reassurance, and Corpse didn't have very much experience with that. He was a work in progress, but so was she. Madison just couldn't figure out if it was worth the fight.
—
Madison set up her monitors and camera in the living room. It was indistinguishable, and because there wasn't much furniture, the table she had set up didn't take up any space. She made sure to angel the camera where her viewers couldn't see much behind her, just in case anything did go wrong while she was live.
This was going to be her first stream in nearly two weeks, and she wanted it to be good. She had gotten a lobby put together for Among Us, but planned to play Phasmophobia with Corpse, Toast, and Rae around 4pm. After she opened the software and apps she needed during the stream, she set up the "starting soon..." screen around 11:55, giving everyone a chance to get settled in the discord chat before she started streaming.

She quickly went to Corpse, kissing him on the cheek, as he was doing the same as she was: setting everything up. He had his headset and eyepatch on, which made her giggle now that she had see his full face before. "Don't laugh at me," he pouted.
She kissed his pout, and giggled at him, before returning to her space in the living room right in time for the countdown.
"Hiiii everyone. You guys know what we're playing from the title, so lets get started!"
—
The games had gone surprisingly well, with Corpse's internet only failing them once through their six hour stream. Madison was exhausted after she was done. It was emotionally exhausting, trying to be "on" for so long. That's one thing she hated about social media; you have supporters, until suddenly you don't.
She shut down her monitors, making sure to put the camera completely away and back into it's bag. She knew it would make Corpse anxious. She listened through the door, and Corpse wasn't talking, so she assumed he was done with his stream. She walked in then, smiling at the sight of him playing with his songs.
She tapped him on the shoulder lightly, him jumping slightly. He turned to face her, smile playing on his lips. "Did you have a good stream, baby?" he asked.
"Yeah, what do you want for dinner?"
"Surprise me," he kissed her gently, and went back to his editing. She rolled her eyes, and left the room, going to make dinner.
