《The Calamity Girls (Book 1)》Cursed!

It was Market Day in Wartwood. Hop Pop put me, Anne, and Sprig in charge of the stand. At the stand across from ours was Maddie Flour, Sprig's fiancée, and her father, promoting their bakery. "Hey, Maddie!" Anne called. "Happy Market Day!" Maddie turned to us and gave a creepy smile. "Ha, classic creepy Maddie." I said as I turned to Anne. "Have you seen Sprig?" Anne nodded as Sprig peeked out of the barrel of veggies. "Uh, what are you doing?" "Hiding, ever since Maddie and I got engaged, things between us have been, awkward." Sprig replied. "Dude, if you don't wanna be engaged anymore, just break it off." I suggested. "Break up with her, to her face?" Sprig asked in fear as he hides in Anne's hair. "She'll kill me!" "Look, breakups are no big deal, I used to do it for my friends, all the time." Anne explains. "It's true, she even did it for me." I added. "They called her the Breakup Queen, also, Angel of Death." "Perfect, you go break up with her, and I'll go find a new hiding spot." Sprig said. "And I'll reorganize the stand." I added. "Yeah, Sprowanne against the world!" All of a sudden, we accidentally bumped into Barry, who was supposed to be the nicest frog in all of Wartwood, this might sound crazy, but I don't think there's a frog in Amphibia nicer than Sprig. "Sorry about that, Barry." Sprig apologized. "Whoa, I didn't see you there, Barry." Anne said. "Shucks, kids, don't worry about it." Barry replied as he made candy appear from behind our ear and left. "Nothing gets Barry down." "There goes Barry, sweetest frog in all of Wartwood." "Swell, and now to break up with Maddie for you." Anne said as I walked away to reorganize. Anne told me they ended up writing a note to her, but was still a success.
I woke up to the sound of Anne's screaming the next morning. I climbed upstairs to see a surprise from Anne and Sprig. Anne was covered in feathers and Sprig was growing hair all over his body. "Face your to happened what, Sprig, Anne, body your on feathers there is why?" I asked. "Voice my!" "Rowena, what happened to your voice?" Sprig asked. "Know don't I." I replied. "Abuse frog is this." "This morning, these things started growing out of me." Anne squawked like a bird. "What is going on?" "Morning, kids." Hop Pop greeted and saw Sprig. "Goodness gracious, boy, what's on your face?" "I dunno, I just woke up like this." Sprig replied. "Backwards talking stop can't I." I explained. "And me, every time I try to talk I..." Anne squawked. At the same time, Polly came downstairs. "Have you guys seen my toothbrush?" Polly asked with a yawn. "Polly, sorry, haven't I." I replied. Anne and Sprig turned to Polly as she started laughing. "Woke up like this, you say?" Hop Pop asked. "I've seen all I need to, you three, have been CURSED!" "Cursed?" Anne chirped. "That's a thing here?" "This land of ours is home to many arts, girls, sculpture, mosaics, and of course, the dark arts!" Hop Pop replied. "But how, when?" Sprig asked. "Well, it takes about a night for a curse to kick in, have any of you upset anyone yesterday?" Hop Pop asked. "Maddie!" Anne and Sprig exclaimed. "Her to talk go to have you, dude." I replied. "Any way you could wait until tomorrow?" Polly asked. "Because I am loving this." Sprig grew more hair on his face. "Sprig, we have to go talk to Maddie, only she can reverse this." Anne explains. "You're right." Sprig sighed. "Or maybe, we can try lifting this curse ourselves, without any awkward conversations." "Fine." I groaned. I understand why Maddie would curse Anne and Sprig, but I was kinda confused on why she would curse me if I had nothing to do with the breakup.

3 hours later, Anne and Sprig's curses were getting worse as we were all researching. I was still talking backwards, but it didn't get any worse than them. Anne was completely covered in feathers and Sprig was a giant hair ball. "I hate this curse." Anne grunted. "Enough is enough, Sprig!" I snapped. "You are going to get Maddie to lift this curse and that's that!" Anne added. "Fine, but it's gonna be so awkward." Sprig whined. He opened the door and surprisingly, he saw Maddie. "Got Mr Plantar's bread order here." Maddie announced as Sprig slammed the door. "She's here, someone hide me!" Sprig exclaimed as the door came off the hinges again. "Oh, hey, Maddie." Sprig chuckled nervously. "Sprig." She replied. "Maddie, I'm sorry for the way I broke up with you, it was wrong of me to have Anne do it and doubly wrong that we didn't do it face to face." "Well, your breakup literally hit me in the face, but as much as I would've preferred an actual conversation, I was fine with what you wrote." Maddie replied. "Oh, thank goodness!" Sprig sighed. "Please, us of off curses these take you can so?" I asked. "Sorry, but I can't, curses can only be lifted by the caster and this isn't my curse." Maddie replied. "Me understand can you, wait?" I asked. "Yeah, I've seen people with the same curse as you." Maddie responded. "But if it wasn't you, then who?" Sprig asked. Maddie created some weird trail. "This trail will lead us to the caster." Maddie explains. "Quickly, before it goes cold!"
Maddie led us into the woods to find the caster. "Why'd you think it was me who cursed you?" Maddie asked. "Well, you do give off a creepy vibe." Sprig replied. "Just because I seem creepy to you doesn't mean I'm a bad person, I'll have you know I learn magic to help people, not hurt them." Maddie scoffed. "Appearances aren't everything, Sprig." "That's a good point." He replied. The trail ended at a storage unit. "This like place a in live would person evil of kind what?" I asked. The doors shut and the lights came on to reveal Barry, the frog who cursed us. "Hello, children." He greeted. "Enjoying the curse I put on you?" "Why, Barry, why!" Sprig cried. "I'll tell you why, surely you remember barging into me at the market yesterday, spilling my entire stock of blue moon berries that only grow once every 10 years, they were priceless!" Barry snapped. "I played it cool and was sweet because my image was half my business, I may look nice, but I'm petty and vengeful on the inside." "Yeah, that was our bad, looks can be deceiving, we get it." Anne apologized. "Barry, we're sorry, please lift the curse." Sprig added. "Let me think, never!" Barry shouted. "Not only am I petty, but I'm very unforgiving." "Me cursed you why understand don't still I" I said. "Simple, I never liked you." Barry replied. "As a curse wielder myself, this abuse of magic offends me." Maddie grunted as she threw a curse towards Barry, but misses. "You should never curse someone unless they really deserve it, and buddy, you deserve it!" I grabbed my driver and was prepared to fight. Maddie and Barry have been throwing curses until Maddie couldn't anymore. Maddie had another idea, she grabbed some feathers from Anne, hair from Sprig, and a spit sample from me, grabbed Barry's last curse and threw it at him with the samples. The next thing we knew, we were back to normal. "Wait!" I exclaimed. "My name is Rowena Warbler, yass!" Barry was covered in feathers and hair because of Maddie's curse. "Body beautiful my, no, oh." Barry said. "We're back to normal!" Sprig exclaimed. "She turned the curses back at him!" Anne added. "I can talk!" I cheered. "Me bested kids crazy you, right all." Barry sighed. "Back me turn, on go now." "Nothing doing, you're way too dangerous." Maddie refused. "You can't just leave me like this." He cried. "C'mon, Maddie, we did him wrong." Sprig said. "Fine, I'll change him back, for a price." Maddie sighed.

We got back to town without a curse. "Thanks for helping us, Maddie, and sorry the engagement had to end like this, friends?" Sprig apologized. "Friends." Maddie smiled. "I can't wait to hang out."

Project Pegasus: An Airplane Crashed into Me So I've Been Reincarnated as a Skeleton
“Where am I?” The place seemed familiar yet my head ached each time I tried to remember it. “This place is kinda creepy.” Wait, what happened to the school? “There should be a plane crash around here somewhere. Also, why am I still alive?” Or maybe... This is the afterlife? “Wait. Nevermind that.” “How in the world could a plane even crash on me like that?” As I stood, I got a glimpse of my right hand touching the ground. “AHHHHHHHHH---!!!” There was no flesh. “Sh*t. What is this?! Why are my hands just bones?! Am I decomposing?! It doesn’t seem to hurt though.” Just like normal, I could feel my heart beating faster, however, as I touched my chest, I felt my fingers sliding through the intervals of my ribs; my heart was gone. “Aaaaah!” As I panicked, I heard a girl’s voice behind me. “Ahm... Suddenly, something touched my right shoulder. My body froze. Slowly, I looked at it; I saw a hand wrapped in white bandage.
