got home. Endless tears streamed down her face as she remembered a great friend she lost and that her father is missing. The only thing keeping her from breaking apart was the small sliver of hope that she could find her father.
But besides that she felt like shit for leaving everyone like that. Especially Newt, he's been so kind and caring towards her and she just left. In all honesty she was overwhelmed as hell. And she prayed that he understood that.
Deep down she wanted to scream and hide away. She's broken so many rules that she'd made for herself in the past twenty-four hours. She went weak. What Grindlewald said was true she is going soft. Teddy didn't know why or how, but she's changed.
The next day she began packing. From clothes to food to even books, she needed enough to last her at least a year. She decided after a night of crying that she would find her father. He could be alive.... and he couldn't, but she would like to believe that he is.
Luckily Teddy was able to find a spell that was similar to Newt's on his suitcase, but this time it held clothes, food and a mini library. She slipped on her navy blue reefer coat and looked at herself in the mirror. She flattened out the coat as she buttoned all the buttons.
Her wand was tucked in an inside pocket of the coat. As she looked at herself she realized the coat resembled Newt's. Both were quite long and in a similar range of blue.
A soft knock was heard from the door. Teddy's hazel eyes gazed away from her reflection and made her way over to the door. She wasn't expecting anyone. Maybe it was Miss. Anderson asking for more milk like last time.

As Teddy opened the door instead of being met with a small Asian women with brown eyes, she saw a tall man with green eyes. Also known as Newt Scamander. Her lips parted slightly and gasped quietly.
"Hi-"
"Hi-"
They shared a small laugh until Teddy opened the door wider, saying "Please, come in."
"Thanks, uh, nice home you have here." Newt looked around the cozy living room, his case in hand.
"Nothing says home when you are just about to leave it." Teddy chuckled quietly as she closed the door.
"What brings you here, Mr. Scamander?"
"I wanted to check up on you... You know, after everything..."
"Oh... Well- I'm doing well." Teddy chuckles and looks down at her feet, suddenly feeling very shy.
"Are you uh, going somewhere?" Newt looks at her suitcase as well as the fact that she's wearing a coat, which oddly looks the same as his.
"To find my father." Teddy looks at him.
"I see." Newt grips on his suitcase.
"How about you, any plans?" Teddy leans against the wall.
"Travel more, I'm working on a book about creatures and I need more information on some." He explains, grinning small.
"I'll be the first to buy a copy." She replies jokingly, but at the same time with all seriousness.
"What time do you have to go?"
"Soon."
"Oh."
A silence fell over them. The sudden realization of what happened hit the two of them like bricks. Newt has seen Teddy at her lowest points and while a small connection clicked between them. Neither of them would admit it though, never.
"Can I walk you to the boats?" Teddy asks after a while.
"Yeah, let's go."

A wave of melancholy hit Teddy as they walked into the station. Neve in a million years did she even expect this feeling in her stomach. She glanced over at Newt who was as quiet and hummed quietly.
"I'm going to miss you, Scamander." Teddy turned to him as they stopped in front of his boat.
"I'll miss you as well, Graves." Newt grins softly.
Momentarily the couple just stared at each other, wondering what to do next. Teddy suddenly felt all this new found confidence inside of her when she smiled at Newt. She closed the space in between them and placed a soft and quick kiss on his lips.
She stepped back and felt her cheeks redden as she watched Newt do the same. She grinned and looked at the ground awkwardly, wondering if that was the right thing to do.
"What was that for?" Newt reaches up and delicately touches his lips with his fingertips.
"So we have a reason to see each other again." Teddy slowly looks up at him and finds Newt towering over her figure.
"I have to go..."
"I don't really like goodbyes so..."
"I'll see you soon then."
"I like that, I'll see you soon Scamander."
"Graves."
Teddy watched Newt walk onto the boat and for a split second he stopped and looked back at her. She raised her hand and began to wave, she didn't care if she looked like a fool but she just waved and smiled. He waved back and then went back on the boat.

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
