body ached and stung like a bitch, not to mention all she could see was darkness. She could only hear faint voices, but they sounded far away.
Newt watched Teddy anxiously. He was chewing his lip as she breathed softly. Whatever spell they shot at her it wasn't deadly and that's all the matters. He was amazed at how she was willing to risk her life to get his case.
Teddy suddenly lunged forward with a loud gasp and groan. "Fucking hell-"
"You're okay!" Tina runs over and hugs Teddy quickly. "Look Teddy, I'm so sorry for all I've done. It was a bitch move."
Teddy groaned softly at the impact of her friend. Even though she was a bit bitter, she'd forgive her but not forget. "It's okay Teens, I understand." Teddy slowly hugged her friend back.
"But I'm not the one who you should say sorry to." She whispers into Tina's ear.
Tina nods softly and pulls away. Teddy slowly stands up, but Jacob and Newt come forward to help.
"Thanks boys." She smiles small and leans onto Newt because her legs felt like jelly.
"Do you know about Obscurus' Miss. Graves as well?" Jacob asks her curiously after being informed about them moments before she woke up.
"Yeah, my mom she knew about them." Teddy gulped as Newt wrapped an arm around her waist to steady her.
"She wrote a book about them, right Teddy?" Tina looks over at her friend, grinning at how she's getting close with Newt.
"I don't want to talk about it." Teddy said quickly and then the feeling in her legs came back. She slowly moved away from Newt, which the both of them silently hated.
"Right, I'm sorry-"
"Just... don't talk about my mom please." Teddy said quietly.
"She was a great person, Teddy-"
"I said don't talk about her!" Teddy yelled and looked at Tina harshly.
The room grew quiet as Teddy breathed hard, turning away from the group and tried to keep herself composed. "I should've tried harder.... She would b-be alive if I-I did..." She mumbled to herself.
Newt wanted to help her. Hold the broken girl that was hiding underneath Teddy. But it was obvious that she just needed time to herself. He glanced at Tina who was looking away, probably regretting how pushy she was being earlier.

His eyes found their way to Teddy, watching how her shoulders were shaking and how she was mumbling to herself. He felt awful, even Jacob looked sad for her. Newt licked his lower lip and took a deep breath.
She's already cried two times today. She broke her own rule about crying, which was to never cry. It shows your weak, and being weak shows that you have feelings.
It shows that she is human like everyone else. But Teddy hated crying with a passion. The self-hatred swirled around her. She bit her quivering lip and blinked away the tears that were arising.
She heard footsteps coming towards them. Teddy licked her lips and wiped her eyes quickly as the gates began to open. She knew where this was going. It would mean the end.
A guard in white took ahold of her elbow and pulled her out of the cell. He put cuffs around her wrists, which hurt like hell.
Teddy looked back at the group and sighed softly. She hated goodbyes more than she does crying. The guard pushed her along, ahead of everyone else.
She often looked back at them and locked eyes with Newt for a moment. She silently thanked him for all the fun she had, sending him a weak smile before getting pulled down a different hallway than everyone else.
"Hey, what are you-" The guard in white left and was quickly replaced by the man she beat up earlier. The one she headbutt. His nose look busted and there was dried blood on the collar of his shirt.
"I have different plans for you, princess." He grinned evilly, fear flashed across her face.
"If I can beat your ass once, I can do it again." Teddy sneered.
"Like to see you try." The unnamed wizard pulled out his wand and smirked. "Can't fight against magic now can you?"
"I can try." Teddy tried to fight against the cuffs, but the metal only sunk deeper into her skin.
"Shut up you bitch." He sent a punch her way, which she ducked and sent another headbutt his way.
"Crucio." He yelled as he pointed the wand at her.

Teddy immediately dropped to the ground and screamed in unbarable pain. Her insides felt as if they were being stabbed with knives. Her head pounding as her body shook.
"Pay backs a bitch, huh?" The man smirked, his wand out in front of him.
"Crucio." He yelled the spell towards the girl.
She let out another scream. It was as if she was getting shocked, stabbed and shot at the same time, but everywhere along her body.
"Crucio!" He screamed, green light shooting from his wand towards the girl.
This was the end. Theodora Ana Laura Gwendolyn Graves knew it. The pain was excruciating, unbarable. She knew she would see her mom and tell her how sorry she was. At this point tears were streaming down her face as more screams left her lips.
Teddy shakily lowered her burning arms down her back. She tried to reach her wand that was rested on her lower back. It wouldn't work, but it was worth a shot.
She wasn't going to die not fighting. She ripped her wand out of her back and tried to remember any spells. She hasn't used them in what? Twelve years?
"A-Alohomra." Teddy mumbled shakily as 'Crucio' was thrown at her once again. She pointed the tip of her wand at the handcuffs. And guess what happened? They actually came off.
"CRUCIO!" The man yelled as Teddy groaned loudly, her body crumpling once again, trying to conceal the wand.
It fucking worked. She fucking did it. After twelve years, she fucking got her magic back. Teddy looked at the man, a weak smirk on her lips.
"What are you smiling about you deranged bitch?" He spits, holding out his wand, ready to kill her already.
"Crucio." She slowly extended her arm, which felt broken at this point. Her voice was above a whisper, light as a feather. She felt weak and in the verge of death.
The wizard's eyes widen in surprise, when green light beamed out if her wand. Little did Teddy know that Newt and Tina were down the hall, Newt had a wand out and ready, but lowered it as he saw the wizard fall back groaning.
Tina and Newt quickly ran over to Teddy. Teddy felt her eyes get sleepy as she saw them running.
"H-Hi guys..." She said quietly, her voice broken and her throat sore from all the screaming.
"Don't say anything, Teddy. We'll help you okay? Don't fall asleep." Tina softly brushed some hair away from her friends face.
"I-I... my m-magic... did you s-see that?" Teddy coughed weakly and groaned as Newt carefully picked her up, one arm under her thighs and the other under her back. She was held like a baby who was about to be fed.
"We did, and we're so proud of that Teddy. But... But you rest okay? You cannot fall asleep on us." Newt said softly as if he was speaking to a child and handed Tina the wand he stole and began walking quickly down the halls.
"O-Okay." Teddy whispered, resting her head on Newt's chest. She was so tired.
"Hey h-hey, don't sl-sleep on me." Newt grew worried, his voice trembling slightly.
Teddy was already paler than white, her body was painted in sweat as red marks and even some blood covered her limbs. It wasn't a plesent sight to say the least. She looked like she would bite the dust at any given moment.
Newt was scared for her, that after all these years of what seemed like hell, she would die like this. He was determined to not let that happen, but he didn't know. All he could do was run faster with the dying girl in his arms.
Teddy let out a small noise as she felt her eyes slowly shutting. The noise around her got quiet. Is this how death felt? Does death actually wear all black and greet you with a hand to take you into the after life? All these questions were going to be answered soon.
Why?
Because Teddy closed her eyes.
