to punch someone so bad. She was mentally throwing darts at Tina's head and ignoring the conversation Tina and Newt were sharing. All she was worried about was what her father would say.
After her mother's death, all Teddy wanted to do was make her father proud. Do this, do that, she did everything he told her to. But he never seemed satisfied with what his daughter did.
Teddy felt eyes on her and whipped her head around to find Newt staring. "May I help you?"
"Why are you... so-so worried? I mean you truly didn't do anything wrong." Newt glances at her and then the ground, embarrassed that she caught him staring. Newt was very curious about Teddy. On how she knows so much about the Wizarding world and why she was so defensive and hard on herself.
"You don't know my father. He doesn't care if I had nothing to do with this, but the fact that Poppertina over here is bringing me in, when I'm suppose to be home, won't settle with him." Teddy purposefully ripped her arm away from Tina's grasp.
Newt nodded as Tina began to feel bad for bringing her friend in, but went inside the building anyway. Teddy attempted to make a run for it at this point, she was far ahead of the two and tried to leave the building, but a hand grasped her wrists.
"Stop being stubborn." Tina grumbled and dragged her to the elevator.
Newt was already inside and Teddy was squished in between him and Tina. She anxiously tapped her finger against her leg as she wished the ride would go on longer. Newt glanced at her and tried to move away to give her space. He was slightly scared of Teddy. And the word slight was a lie.

"Tina, you have one more chance to let me leave before I hate you for life." Teddy mutters as the elevator begins to come to a stop.
"You said the same thing when I made you go to that movie premiere." Tina shrugs, not caring about what her friend was saying. It's nothing she hadn't heard before.
The elevator doors opened and Teddy tried her hardest to stay back, looking at the elf with a pleading look. But sadly Tina was able to drag her out and down the halls. They stopped at a grand oak door that screamed "Don't go inside", but you know what happened? Tina opened them anyway.
Whatever the people in the room were doing, it was deadly silent. Tina pulled Newt and Teddy inside by their arms. The room broke into small whispers and Teddy tried to hide behind Newt, praying her father wasn't in the room.
"President-" Tina tried to speak.
"What have I told you about bursting in?" Madame President looked up from some papers. Teddy glanced around the room and noticed a familiar black and white hair.
"Fuck." She mumbled to herself.
"I'm sorry Madame President." Percival looked at the trio and walked over as he noticed someone hiding behind Newt.
Percival grabbed Teddy's arm and squinted his eyes, wondering why the hell his daughter is here. Teddy sent a glare Tina's way and a sad one towards Newt as she was pulled out of the room by her father.
They were silent as Percival dragged his daughter down the long hallways until they reached his office. He slammed the door shut and turned to his daughter, who was trying to figure out how to tell her father everything that just happened.
"What the hell were you doing with Goldstein?" Percival questions as Teddy rips her arm away from him.

"That's a long story, dad. But it all revolves around that Brit." She tried to reason.
"What happened then?"
"He, this creature, his Niffler took my bracelet. The one mom gave me when I was younger? And it caused a bunch of ruckus at the bank and Tina was watching the Second Salemers-"
"But why were you there? You were suppose to be home today." Percival cuts his daughter off, not caring about why Tina was there.
"I was... I was meeting with a friend." Teddy purses her lips. It wasn't a complete lie, she was meeting with Credence.
"And you didn't tell me?" He raised his voice.
"It slipped my mind-"
"You are to go straight home. I don't care if you have to do something, cancel them. You are grounded."
"Dad!" Teddy exclaimed. "That is unfair and you know it. Aren't you even a bit curious on why this Brit is here, in New York?"
"No excuses young lady." Percival stares down at his daughter, his mind drifting off to an event that happened earlier that day.
"I'm fucking twenty-seven! I shouldn't even listen to you. You can't control me!" Teddy growled.
"Try me. Now go home. I have business to attend to." Percival opened the door to his office.
Teddy let out a frustrated groan and stormed out of the office quickly, pushing past anyone who got in her way. She was going to get answers from this Brit, and she didn't care about the consequences that would come with them.
