As the tour went on, many of the students discovered that the further they went up, the cooler it was. The higher floors were the cooler labs with the more advanced stuff. The highest floors were off limits because that was where the Avengers' quarters and common area were located. When the tour was over, they all headed to their room, escorted by Lauren, and grabbed their bags. Lauren had told them that Mr. Stark had gotten his staff to take them up. They all filed into the room and saw 5 bunk beds. They scrambled to claim the top bunks.
Peter was on the top with Ned underneath. Then, there was MJ across from Peter with Betty on the bottom. Beside MJ, there was Abe with Cindy underneath him. Across from Abe was Flash with Charles underneath him and Sally got the bed in the corner. The corner had some pros and cons. The cons: she was alone in the corner. The pros: she had the top and bottom bunk to herself.
"Try not to stay up too late. You guys have a big day tomorrow." Lauren said as they all got settled. They nodded in agreement as they climbed into their beds. There was a chorus of 'thank you' and 'goodnights'. Lauren smiled and said a quick goodnight as she turned to walk out of the room. A few moments after she closed the door, they all sat up. The people on the bottom bunks joined the people on the top. Sally came over and sat with MJ and Betty.
"We aren't actually going to sleep are we?" Charles spoke up. There were a few quiet laughs across the room.
"Of course not. We're teenagers. Do they really expect us to go to sleep at a reasonable time?" Sally responded. Some laughed while others grinned. "But what are we going to do?" It was quiet for a minute before Ned responded.
"We could play truth or dare?" He said, although it came out as more of a question.
"As Liz would say, it's good for morale and bonding. Who's in?" Betty said as her voice rose in pitch due to excitement. The room responded with hushed whispers and agreements. "Okay, then it's settled. Who goes first?" They all looked at each other, no one really knew how to start.
"I'll go." Ned said. Everyone stayed silent, so he took that as confirmation. "Uhh Peter, Truth or Dare?" He looked at Peter, who smirked but no one could see it due to the darkness in the room.
"Dare." Ned grinned and gave him an evil look. Peter experienced immediate regret.
"I dare you to sneak out and go grab the whole team snacks!" Ned could barely keep his laughter in as he said this. Peter's eyes widened as the group complimented Ned on his dare.

"What?!" Peter exclaimed in a whisper yell. "Dude..." He looked at MJ, pleading for help.
"Come on. You're here all the time so you know where all the good food is." He looked at Peter who looked back at him with a 'really?' look in his eyes.
"Yeah Parker. You're here ALL the time, you should know where the good food is, right?" Flash taunted with a smirk. You could see him due to the moonlight coming through the window by his bunk. Peter looked at Flash before glancing at the rest of the team.
"Fine..." Peter hopped off the bunk, trying his best to keep quiet and crept towards the door. He opened the door and glanced left and right before walking out. The team sat in the room in silence before Abe spoke up.
"Are we not going to follow him?" This was everyone's que to get up and speed run after Peter. They were all giggling like middle school girls spilling their boy secrets. Peter was creeping down the hall when he turned around, only to come face to face with his Decathlon team.
"What are you guys doing?!" He whisper yelled. The more people that came along, the more likely they were to get caught. He did NOT need to get caught and Mr. Stark finding out. He would never let him live it down.
"We were bored and wanted to come with you." Cindy spoke up in a hushed tone. The rest of the team just nodded in confirmation. Peter sighed before looking at MJ.
"You let them?" He asked her. She only gave a shrug along with:
"I wanted to see you guys get caught." Peter let out a quiet groan.
"Okay fine." Peter thought for a second before speaking again. "FRIDAY?"
"Yes, Peter?" FRIDAY responded quite loudly. Peter and the team freaked out internally before Peter responded.
"Sensory Overload Protocol." The group gave him many confused looks before FRIDAY responded. She was so quiet, the team almost couldn't hear her. The Sensory Overload protocol dimmed all the lights, if there were any on, and lowered FRIDAY's volume.
"Sensory Overload Protocol Activated. What would you like me to do, Peter?" Peter let out a sigh of relief before he responded again.
"I need you to warn us if any staff, inters, or Avengers notice or hear us." FRIDAY responded as his team stared at him, most of them wondering how he knew protocols, seemingly forgetting that he interned there.
"Will do. Is that all, Peter?" FRIDAY responded, still in a very quiet voice. Peter had a small smile on his face before continuing to walk.
"That's all FRI. Thank you!" His team followed after him.
"You're welcome." Just like that, it was silent again. Peter approached the stairs before slowly opening the door. The entire team froze as the door make a loud creak. "You have GOT to be kidding me." Peter thought. Instead of dragging out the sound of slowly opening the door the rest of the way, Peter pulled it all the way open in one swift motion. He began going up the stairs but stopped as the voice of one of his teammates spoke up.

"Why are we using the stairs and not the elevator?"
"Trust me on this. You might think everyone is asleep, but they aren't." Peter responded before waving a hand for them to follow. The Avengers stayed up to 'unnatural' hours of the night or day. "We have to go about 10 floors up to get to the kitchen. Even then, there might not be anything good." There were a few whispers of complaints but they followed him up anyways. Once they finally reached the kitchen, many of the students sat down at the tables to catch their breath.
Peter racked through the shelves of ingredients and food but found nothing good. He was going through the shelves when FRIDAY spoke up.
"It appears as if someone is coming up to this floor." Peter's eyes widened. Peter ran out of the room and this caught everyones attention.
"We gotta go! There's someone coming!" Everyone started to panic at his words. Peter yelled out to FRIDAY as they were running. "FRIDAY. Who is it?!" They all ran down wide hallway to the door that led to the stairwell. It creaked as Peter opened it, rushing everyone through.
"It appears to be Mr. Barton." FRIDAY responded, still extremely quiet. Peter froze at her words. Ned, MJ, Flash, and Abe heard what FRIDAY had said and stopped in their tracks.
"Wait. Barton? As in Clint Barton? As in Hawkeye??" Flash spoke up staring at Peter for confirmation. Peter snapped his head back around to Flash before answering.
"Yes. It's the Clint Barton. Now go!!" Peter shoved them into the stairwell before closing the door with a soft click. He stood with his back against the wall next to the door. He could see Clint's shadow from under the door because of the moonlight coming through the window. Peter held his breath as Clint stood there for what felt like hours. He finally walked away and Peter let out a long sigh before turning to the others. Cindy came back up the stairs.
"What's the hold up?" She asked with a confused look. Peter let out a small 'shh' before whispering to them to get back to the room.
When they entered the room, the others were asking what happened. Peter was about to answer before Flash cut him off.
"Hawkeye almost caught us!" At this, the whole team started to freakout and let out hushed squeals of excitement, concern, and relief. Peter glanced at Ned and then MJ. She returned his glance with a look of confusion.
"I'll be right back." Peter started to walk out of the room until Ned stopped him.
"Wait, dude, where are you going?" Ned spoke in a hushed whispered, not wanting to draw attention to him and Peter.
"I'm going to get food to finish my dare." Peter stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Ned struggled to form a response and MJ slightly grinned. Peter left as everyone else was discussing the Avenger that they almost ran into. Ned and MJ joined the teams conversation. No one seemed to notice his absence for a solid seven minutes before Sally spoke up.
"Wait. Where's Peter?" The team looked around their circle trying to figure out where he went. As if he was summoned, Peter walked back in the room with several boxes of Pop-Tarts. The group notices and immediately grabbed the boxes before going to sit on their bunks.
"Peter," Betty spoke up. "Where did you even get these from?" Peter froze as the group wondered the same thing.
"I... have my ways.." Peter replied with a smile, trying to take the attention away from him. "Anyways, uhh Betty, truth or dare?" He looked at her. Most of the team forgot they were even playing truth or dare, but quickly got back into it. The rest of the group munched on their pop-tarts as they waited.
"Oh uhmm truth!" She didn't really want to do dare because of how Peter's turned out. Some of her teammates groaned but she ignored them. Peter turned to Ned and whispered something to him. Ned replied by whispering something back to which Peter nodded.
"If you had to date someone in this room, who would it be?" Peter honestly felt a bit bad about putting her on the spot like this, but it was Ned's idea. Her eyes went wide as the other teenagers snickered evilly at her situation.
"Okay, I changed my mind, give me a dare." The room erupted into protests, telling her to answer the question. "OKAY! Okay, fine... Either Ned or Flash." She rushed out. The room went silent at this. Many of them turned to look at Flash while some looked at Ned. Peter gave his best friend, who, if you could see, was as red as a tomato, a slight nudge and 'the look'. The night went on and the teens went to bed around one in the morning.
The next morning was... interesting...

World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
