Lyon POV

I woke up yet again but this time, the pain wasn't as painful. I sat up before looking around, it seemed like the sun had just gone down. I rub my eyes, or well, eye, & felt something shift beside me. I look down & saw it was Sabo, alive & looking somewhat healthy

Not only Sabo, Ace & Luffy were beside me as well. A tiny smile made its way onto my face as I ruffled their heads, Luffy merely mumbled something while Ace scowled as s tiny blushed appeared on his face

"Cute as always..."

"Leo...?" someone whispered, I looked up & saw it was Sil "Oh thank god your alive. There was a 50 percent chance you weren't gonna wake up...!"

"Really? How long have I been out...?"

"Almost 3 days straight dammit...!" I scratch the back of my head & sigh, I made sure I got up without waking anyone, with the help of Sil, & jaggedly made my way outside for a smoke "What are you going to do? Marco & the others are gonna flip! Especially Marco!" I blew out a puff of smoke & sigh

"I know, I know. Stop yelling, your giving me a headache..." he looked away

"Sorry." he whispered

"Its okay, I'm just... I don't know, stressed?" I sigh again & move my arm a bit, which was in those arm slings

"There's also a thought that your arm is never going to heal, sorry." I shrug "If you don't mind me asking, but, what happened?"

"Well, let's keep it short & simple. Two people trapped in a fiery inferno, I come along, I save them, I get trapped. Huge explosion, something landed on me, it burnt my right half, I passed out. Simple."

"& quick, are you gonna say that to Whitebeard & Marco or the full thing?" I shrug

"Maybe half of the full thing, I don't want Marco--"

"Nagging at you, I know." I snap my fingers & point at him, cigar sitting on my lips with a small smirk

"There we go." I blew out another puff of smoke before putting the cigar out, I motion my head to go back inside & so we did. Sil told me that he already packed my stuff & was waiting, somewhat patiently, for me to wake up so we could leave

"You ready, Lyon?"

"Almost, just give me a minute." he nods & walks out, I look down at them & a small smile cracked onto my face as I set a letter on a little table I saw before ruffling Luffy's head "Alright, Sil, lets get outta here." he nods

"Yes sir."

Luffy POV

I slowly woke up & yawn, I noticed that Leo wasn't there, so I shrug it off & try going back to sleep... wait, LEO'S NOT HERE!! I sprung up & immediately started screaming, waking everyone up in the process

"Argh! Luffy, what the hell...?"

"Where's Leo?!" now everyone was panicking & searching for him, with Sabo still recovering in the bed

"Hey guys, I found a letter!"

"Give it here!" Dadan yelled as she ripped it out of his hands, we all look over at the letter as she begins to read it

'Dear Dadan, ASL & the Bandits,

I sincerely apologize if I caused somewhat a uproar in your humble domain, I didn't mean to, its just that by the time you get this letter, I'll be gone. Again, I apologize if I caused any trouble for any of you, its just that I've stayed for longer than I expected.

I hope to see you guys in the future & that I'll be the same ol' me with a shit eating grin & somewhat of a disorder with heterochromia. Luffy & Ace, please look after Sabo & keep him away from the Goa Kingdom, we don't want the same thing to happen twice now, do we?

Please look after yourselves as well.

P.S - think of this letter as a "see you later" rather than a "goodbye"

"He's gone..." I felt myself tear up but a hand or two placed on my head, I look up & see it was Ace & Sabo "We'll see him again... right?"

"Of course. He did say it was a "see you later", remember?" I nodded

"Yeah."

"Then stop crying, crybaby!"

Lyon POV

"Hey guys! Leo's back!" everyone started cheering & I awkwardly waved, I looked at Sil & he nudged his head over to pops. I sigh to myself & just as I was going to approach him, I felt someone grip my right arm, tight

"Hey Chief! Why were you gone for so long? We missed you!" it was Namur, he smiled at me & I hesitantly smiled back, soon enough Marco was in front of me

"Why are you slumped?"

"Uh... I, uh--"

"Why are your glasses on? You said you'd wear them less, & your hat is on low-yoi... wait, did something happen?" I scratch my cheek & look up at him, I try moving away but he gripped my arm tightly so I couldn't leave. Lets rephrase that, he tightly gripped my RIGHT arm, I whimper a little when I felt him tighten his grip "I knew something bad happened-yoi!"

"Marco..." he let go, he pushed my shoulder back & flipped my hat off while snatching my sunglasses off. I heard multiple people gasp as I look away, I grab my glasses off him while Sil picked up my hat

"What happened?!" Thatch yelled

"Who the hell did this you?! We'll fucking destroy them!" Haruta yelled

"No one...!" I said, it didn't seem like they believed

"Tell us who did this to you now, Lyon-yoi!" that was when my temper snapped

"I did it to my fucking self okay!! If I didn't, a mother & her child wouldn't even be here now! Some fucking pirate assholes set fire to this rather large place & it went out of control, I did everything I could to save everyone & in the end I got this, my right side is completely fucked up & there's a chance I might not be able to see through this eye anymore & that my arm well NEVER heal! So there, you happy?! Are you going to fucking destroy me now?!"

"L-Leo..." I then sniffed as tears slowly ran down my face

"T-This is exactly why I-I don't tell people these type o-of things... cause this'll happen...!" I wipe away the tears & grit my teeth "Why the hell am I crying...?" I fell to my knees & sobbed into my hand & then I felt pops approach me... I expected to get somewhat of a scolding but instead, I was developed into a soft hug

"We deeply apologize for we've made you feel. We just care deeply for you, we are definitely not happy that you hurt yourself, but we are proud of you that you saved somebody's life."

"... R-Really...?" he nods, I look at the others & they nod as well with a smile forming

"Like I said, we are not happy that you've scared yourself, but we are very proud."

"Probably the AKAS would be flipping out!"

"Especially Atami." that made us all laugh "I miss her..."

"We know Thatch, we know." Jozu said, Thatch then started yelling at him with a large blush on his face. I chuckle to myself & smile to myself, they may drive me nuts sometimes, but they are the only family I've ever wanted in my entire miserable life
