Lyon POV
"Okay okay guys, please calm down." I sweat drop to myself when I see everyone worrying over me while pops was merely laughing, this happened every time I left the Moby Dick to the sail the ocean. I've already sailed all four blues, the grand line & New World yet they still can't handle me leaving for a few weeks
"WE CAN'T!!" I groan & give them a hug each, I whistle & Silver came by & when I did I snapped my fingers I changed him into a human
The thing about the power I possess is that I'm like a digital human, I can change peoples codes or physical being into something, or anything I want, I can basically play god in this world
"You called?"
"We're off when your ready, kitty."
"Don't call me kitty." I chuckle while he rolled his eyes & jumped over the railing & into our little boat, the same little boat I miraculously appeared on when I first appeared
"Stay safe Leo-yoi!"
"I highly doubt it but, I will."
"Thank you." I go to pops & hug him again & he hugs back
"Please get well pops, I'm getting worried." he's currently 62 years old & he's been getting quite old &... q-quite sick as well, he has medical equipment in his body now
"I'll be fine brat, now go have some fun & rain havoc on any marines that come your way!" I grin at that
"Hell yeah!"
"But watch out for Garp!"
"Definitely." I jump over the railing & into the boat as well & we let the boat get carried away by the currents to a random destination "So, where are we off to?" Silver sniffed the air

"I'm not sure, but I smell gun powder in the air."
"Gun powder?" I look over to see a fleet of marine ships, I sigh to myself & face palm before looking up with an annoyed look "Every time we leave, there's just a fleet of ships waiting for us. EVERY TIME!!"
Time Skip
I stretch my back & let out a sigh when I heard a click, I docked our little boat & stepped out of it & looked around. It seems to me we were in the East Blue, considered to be the weakest sea, & the village we were in looked rather peaceful
I look down at Silver & see he was fast asleep with ashes on his face, we bad easy took the fleet on & there was fire everywhere, which to Sil's fear, he flipped the fuck out
"Oh great Sil, your asleep, I wonder for how long." I roll my eyes & walk into town, I wasn't really sure where anything was so I stopped a lady that was walking pass me "Excuse ma'am, you wouldn't mind helping me for a sec, would you?"
"Oh sure, what do you need?"
"Uh, where's the closest bar?"
"Bar? That'll be that one for you deary, the Party Bar. The bartender who owns the place is a very lovely woman." she explained as she pointed towards
"Thank you for the directions miss, have a lovely day."
"Same to you." she smiled & walked away, I went in the direction she pointed in & was now standing in front of the bar, it sounded rowdy
"*sigh* here goes nothing." I push open the doors & the noise suddenly died down as all eyes were on me, I sweat drop & blush out of embarrassment… jeez, I don't remember the last time I blushed like that

"Who's that?" I heard a rather squeaky voice say
"Is that… Leo?" I look over to see a red head wearing a straw hat
"Shanks…?" he suddenly gasped as he jumped from his seat & ran over to me, developing me into a strong embrace
"It really is you chief! Its been too long!" I chuckle & hug him back
"WHAAAT?!?!"
"SHANKS!! You know the Virus Archer Lyon?!"
"Yeah, I knew him when he was 7." Shanks pats my back "Man you've grown since the last time I saw you, you were like Luffy's height!"
"Luffy?" suddenly a kid ran up to me
"How do you know Shanks?!" I crouch down to his height
"You could say he's like my uncle."
"UNCLE?!?! THAT'S AWESOME!! I'm Monkey D. Luffy, I'm gonna be the King of the Pirates!" I raise an eyebrow
"Are you encouraging him, Shanks?"
"No, he wants to join my crew but I keep telling him no. Your still to young." Shanks said as the three of us sat down at the counter
"Well I was 7 & I joined pops crew."
" you had brains, I'm not sure on this one."
"Hey!"
"Excuse me, but what can I get you?" I look over & blush, it was a very beautiful lady
"Oh, you have to meet Makino, she's the owner of this here bar! Careful Makino, he's shy." I look at her & blush again
"I-Its nice to m-meet you…!" I noticed Shanks slowly leaning into my face
"… dork." I then headbutt him "Ow!!"
"Well at least I act mature compared to you red head."
"Not true." with that he pouted & I rolled my eyes "Anyways, what are you doing in the East Blue? Last time I heard you were in the Grand Line."
"I was, got boring so we flowed with the sea."
"We?" I nodded & on cue Sil came flying through the window
"Where is he?! Is he here?! Where'd he go?!" I whistle & he looked over to my direction & seeing me lazily waving my hand "Please don't run off again!!" he screamed as he caressed his face onto my cheek while crying, everyone sweat dropped while I rolled my eyes
"I didn't run off though, I walked off while you were busy napping."
"Wake me up next time!"
"But you looked so peaceful…" he growled this time "Oh, did I mention Shanks is here?"
"Shanks?" he looked over & the red head waved with a grin "Does that mean that annoying clown is here too? What was his name? Muggy? Bogey?"
"Buggy?"
"That's it!"

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
8 126Rewound and Rewritten
How many times have you wished you'd done things differently? Made better choices, put in more effort or worked towards a different goal altogether? But unfortunately, you know life doesn't work that way, thus you have to treat and treasure every moment as if it were your last, lest you leave behind any regrets. But if you were truly given a second chance, if time was actually rewound... would you really act upon those goals?? Potentially rewriting your fate, and that of those around you?? This is one my first stories, so kindly excuse my grammar. I don't own the cover pic, so if the owner has an issue then please PM me, I'll take it down...
