《Reality Check (One Piece Fan-Fiction)》Chapter IV: Opening Up

(you know what? I kinds just remembered that Roger has already found the One Piece 20 years ago & I was just an idiot & forgot... my bad. Also, Whitebeard is referring him as Stoneheart D (Drake). Lyon)
Third Person POV
Whitebeard chuckled as he led Leo out of the infirmary room, the boy was shaking in his boots & practically clung onto Whitebeard's leg. The crew mates watched in amusement at the shy child, some laughed while some just stared
Whitebeard was now on the deck where all the Commanders were, Leo flinched at all the attention he was getting & hid behind Whitebeard once again. He shook his head & lightly pushed Leo to all of them, this time he gasped & blushed darkly
"There's no need to be shy, my son." Leo's head slowly nodded, Whitebeard had started calling him son for awhile & it made Leo, you guessed it, start crying
'I'm sorry...'
"There's no need to apologize either!" he nodded his head again "Now my sons, I'd like you to meet Stoneheart D. Lyon." he waved his hand nervously
'Hello...'
"Hey kid! Its nice seeing you out of that room finally." Leo smiled nervously at Thatch as he felt the older man ruffle his head
"He seems to like you, Thatch. What'd you do?" he shrugged & looked away
"Oh nothing, I was just being nice."
"You, nice? That's kinda hard to believe." Thatch just laughed & looked down at Leo again, he (Leo) looked up at Thatch & shyly smiled at him again
"See! He likes you!" Thatch rolled his eyes & picked Leo up
"You make it sound like he's a animal." he retorted back & walked off to the kitchen with the little boy, Leo has never smiled in front of anybody in his entire life, a true smile that is. Thatch makes him feel comfortable to be around, pops does the same but... this is different "So kiddo, you hungry."

'Yes please.'
"Same thing I gave you before?" he felt Leo nod "Okay." Leo had been looking up to Thatch like a big brother... the big brother he never had, a better big brother that Xavier never was. The thought of him made Leo scowl & growl, Thatch seemed to have noticed
"Why'd you growl?"
'Whatever do you mean?'
"You look & sounded angry, was it how people are treating you?"
'You are... somewhat close.'
"Alright Leo, we're gonna play a game of 20 questions, I'm probably gonna ask you like... under 10 questions."
'What if I disagree to play?'
"Then you don't get french toast." Leo put a hand to his chest as he gasped lightly in a shocked tone
'How cruel, alright then. I'll play your dumb game.'
"Now that's rude, um, what's your favorite color?" he asked as he set the food in front of him
'Green.'
"Okay, lucky number."
'Its either 3 or 13.'
"Hmm, your birthday."
'Why are you asking for personal details?' he asked as he gave Thatch a weird look, he just shrugged 'Whatever, August 27.'
"Good good, now if you don't mind me asking, & its alright if you don't wanna answer but... why do you where sunglasses, even when its not sunny?" Leo choked on his food a bit & started breathing heavily
The hurtful words are coming back...
What did I do to deserve this...?
"Leo..."
They're right...
I should just die...
"Leo...!"
I wish I never woke up!!
"Lyon!" he gasped as he felt tears run down his face, he blink a few times & realized he had been crying in front of a crowd. Everyone started arriving when they smelt Thatch's food but stopped when they heard/saw the conversation between him & the boy, Leo started blushing out of embarrassment as he tried to wipe his tears away

'I-I'm sorry...! I didn't mean t-to start crying!' Thatch looked down at him & saw he was still trying to wipe his tears away, his tears were also smudging his words
"No Lyon, I shouldn't have asked such a personal question, if anyone's sorry... it should be me." yet that didn't get him to stop crying
Leo sniffles a bit until he felt he was pulled into a hug... he's never been given a hug before. He's lip quivered when he felt the other crew mates hug him as well, he grit his teeth to try to stop the tears from falling but just gave up
"... t-thank you..." he whispered & only those with keen ears were able to hear it, which made them smile
(sorry if short. I kinda suck at writing this, I'm not use to it. Its mostly the ASL is involved with it & shit!)

A Time for Leisure
A world of cultivation is always a brutal one for people and beasts alike, a world owned by royalties, powerful sects, and monstrous powerhouses. For people trying to make their way to the top, only a handful ever get past even the first few levels. This is the story of a young Devil who is tired after forcing his way to the top, now he just wants to live a carefree life, eat many different types of food, and maybe look up the skirts of a few beautiful maidens? -DISCLAIMER- This is my first novel on any site, but please do NOT be gentle with reviews. If you think you even have the *tiniest* idea as to what could make the novel even a tad better, please do not hesitate to tell me. MC is very OP, apologies if you don't like that, it's just one of my preferences. Once I am experienced, I will most likely do weak to strong or fantasy style novels.

Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
