Third Person POV
Let's time skip & say its been a few days since Leo appeared, he hasn't left the infirmary & the only ones who's gone inside was either pops or the nurses. He's really warmed up to the old man & sees him as a father that he never had
"Hey pops! When can we go in & see him?"
"When he's ready."
"Its almost been a week-yoi."
"He's a very sensitive & shy boy, he doesn't even talk & his eyes are always closed." the two commanders raise an eyebrow
"He doesn't talk?"
"& why are his eyes always closed?" Whitebeard shrugged his shoulders
"He hasn't told me yet, even so, I wouldn't tell you. He's also very secretive." & with that he walked away, Thatch sighed while Marco pulled something out
"What's that?"
"Sunglasses-yoi. I found them on the boat where I found him." Thatch immediately lit up & had an idea, Marco caught on "Oh no, whenever you have that look it means bad news."
"Hear me out, Marco my dear brother, I can make him food while you give him his glasses. Who knows what those bloody nurses have been giving him!" Marco put the sunglasses in his pocket & rubbed his temples
"I don't even think he's gonna trust us, let only talk to us-yoi."
"But he doesn't talk."
"Whatever! You get what I mean!" Thatch rolled his eyes
"Oh come on! It'll be a quick visit, in & out! What do you say?!" he finished & had his hand out to him, Marco groaned this time
"Fine! But if we get in trouble, I blame you-yoi!" & they shook on it, Thatch clapped his hands & skipped off to the kitchen to make something for the 7 year old boy while Marco stood there for awhile "What have I gotten myself into?"

(Life & Death)
(Time Skip)
It didn't take to long for Thatch to make food so when he was done, he found Marco leaning on the door that lead to the room where the boy was. They hadn't yet learnt his name yet cause Whitebeard was being a bit of a jackass & he didn't tell them
"Ladies first-yoi."
"Such a gentlemen." Thatch slowly opened the door & there was the boy, short wavy black hair, tannish skin & what seemed like b-- there was a sudden gasp when the boy looked up & closed his eyes
"Whoa whoa kid! There's no need to be scared, we're only here to bring you food & something we think that belongs to you-yoi." he didn't answer, there was an awkward silence until Thatch broke it
"Here's some food for you kid! I thought you'd be hungry & the food the nurses give to the patients, aka us, is horrible." he set the food on a side table & waited for a response, he was a little hesitant before grabbing his notebook
'T–Thank you... sir.'
"Sir? You can call me Thatch, that's my name by the way! What's yours?" Marco gave Thatch a look but stopped when he flipped to a old page he already written something on
'My name is Lyon, Lyon Drake Stoneheart.'
"That's one hell of a name-yoi." Leo seemed to have taken it the wrong way when he started tearing up "Oh no." Thatch glared at the older man (i think he's older)
"Marco!"
'I-I'm sorry for crying... people use to tease me about my name.'
"Why? I think your name is pretty cool kiddo." Thatch then reached to ruffle his head but Leo freaked out & flinched away from his reach & covered his head "Whoa, a-are you okay?" he goes to reach him again but Marco pulled his hand away & shook his head

"Remember what pops said? He's shy & sensitive you moron-yoi."
"Oh right, sorry kiddo." this time he just patted Leo's head, he tensed up & kinda liked the feeling. He's never felt that way before, all he's ever gotten was a smack to the head, punch or kick to the stomach... "If you ever need something, you have me, Marco or pops to come too." Leo nodded his head slowly until he was presented with his glasses
'Where did you get those?' he wrote as Marco handed them to him
"Found them on the boat you were on when you were unconscious-yoi." he was confused right now, when the hell did he get on a boat in the middle of the ocean? He nodded & put the sunglasses on, he took a look at Marco & looked at him in a weird way
'Why does your head look like a pineapple?' Thatch held back a laugh as he saw a dark aura come from Marco, he kept his cool & took a deep breath
"Calm yourself Marco, he is just a child... just a child. Wait till he gets older." Leo flinched again, Thatch shook his head & dragged him of the room
"Enjoy the food kiddo! Made it just for you!" & they were out of the room
Lyon POV
I waited for them to be gone fully before touching my head where Thatch patted my head... no one has ever been so nice & kind to me like these people have. They don't even know me & they are being so generous, I felt myself tear up as I wipe the tears away after taking my sunglasses, I look back in the mirror & cringed in my reflection
I looked so weird in my opinion, mostly my eyes. They were so unnatural, I look back at the food Thatch gave & felt myself drool but I look away from it. I look back at the mirror & saw my rather skinny body, Thatch was right about one thing, the food the nurses gave to me was rather disgusting
"One bite, wouldn't hurt..." I mutter to myself, it was basically french toast, eggs & bacon. I take a bite & my eyes widened, this is the nicest thing I've ever had in my miserable life. I take another bite, then another, then another until eventually I finished the whole thing "Hmph, thanks for the nicest meal I've ever gotten, Thatch."
Thatch POV
I walk pass the infirmary room to check on the kiddo when I heard his voice, it was rather smooth & it sounded kinda like a teenager. I peer into the room & saw that he finished the whole plate of food I gave him, I chuckle
"He has a very attractive voice for a 7 year old." I walk to the galley where the others were & saw Marco sitting with Haruta & Jozu
"Curiel & Izo haven't forgiven me yet!!" Haruta groaned
"Well get over it-yoi."
"I can't!!" I roll my eyes & sit beside Marco
"Where'd you go?" Jozu asked
"I went to check on the kid, & I heard his voice." everything went silent & everyone turned to me with widened eyes, I sweat drop "W-What...?"
"You heard his voice?!" everyone yelled, hell, even pops looked surprised
"Y-Yeah." now everyone was throwing random questions at me & I look away with an annoyed expression
'Now I wish I kept my mouth shut.'
